Remove a dead DC from AD

We have a dead DC (due to hardware failure) that we would like to remove

from AD. It's a 2003 server, GC, no FSMO roles, w/ DNS and DHCP.

Since we cannot run DCPROMO, can we use NTDSUTIL to remove it even if the

server is offline?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I removed two DC from domain via NTDSUTIL and there were no problem

As you sad you dont have any FSMO roles that were on dead server, so

that should work just fine
