Guest jimi hendrix Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 In a windows 2000 domain with 3 domain controllers all 2000 standaard server except one 2003 standaard server, I need to set up a printserver. 35 network printers serving about a hundred office clients. I want to install these printers on a 2000 DC that has a primairy DNS server function. Is this scenario a bad case or what do you suggest, better on a member server or does this make any differents thanks for all the comments jimi
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Re: print server Hello jimi, Doesn't matter for DNS in this case. But make sure, that you have sufficient disk space for the spooling of the documents on the c-drive or redirect the print spooler to another location.
