Guest Paul Lady Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 My laptop running W2K has turned into a power hog. It takes 70 watts now and it used to take 40 watts. The fan runs all the time! I've tried virus scan for power virus, reducing the processes running to bare minimum, no luck. Any ideas? TIA, pjl
