Guest Billy Green Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 I can't get past the splash screen! I've also tried to re-install, and it freezes during that process as well! Thinkin' its a hardware prob. Any ideas of a software fix first? Thanks, Billy -- MCP & A+

You probably have a failed/failing hard disk. -- Posted via NewsDemon.com - Premium Uncensored Newsgroup Service ------->>>>>>http://www.NewsDem

It sounds like Win2k has become corrupted and will need tobe repaired or probably re-installed. First run a chksk/r from the repair console to ensure your hard drive is ok.
