Guest Rami Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 I have to install in each of my 100 domain client PC's some executable. If it was an MSI file than I could use GPO but can I do with an exe? Regards Rami
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Re: Exe instalation with GPO Hello Rami, You have to find out, if the .exe file has some switches for silent install or something else, then you can copy/install it via startup script. Talk to the vendor of the application. Also you can create your own .msi package: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/257718 http://www.download-source.de/3414/WinINSTALL-LE/ Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. ** Please do NOT email, only reply to Newsgroups ** HELP us help YOU!!! http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm > I have to install in each of my 100 domain client PC's some > executable.
