SP4 not being recognized as SP4

I'm trying to use the wizard for migrating my settings from my old

computer Windows 2000 system to my new Vista Business system. On the old

machine, I keep getting a message on the old machine telling me that I

have to have at least Windows 2000 SP4. But I *have* SP4 installed! Why

does it think I don't?

Hello Harlan,

You can not upgrade from W2000 to Vista. You have to clean install.

Thanks, but I'm not upgrading Windows 2000 to Vista, and the migration

tool claims that it *should* be able to do what I'm asking it to do.

Should be no harm in reapplying the service pack.
