I am getting a persistent error: EventID 7023 every time I reboot my Windows

2000 server.

The details are:

-------------------------------------------------------

Event Type: Error

Event Source: Service Control Manager

Event Category: None

Computer: WIN2000_SERVER

Description:

The Microsoft Search service terminated with the following error:

The system cannot find the file specified.

-----------------------------------------------

It is not a 'timing' issue as I can't manually start the Search Service

after bootup has completed either.

I have searched enlessly through all the online documentation without

finding a solution to this problem.

Can somebody please shed some light on fixing this?
