I want to change to premium 32 bit from basic 64 bit. Is that possible by

just changing the key?

Re: Change key?

Changing from 32-bit to 64-bit is always a custom install.

Re: Change key?

No. Since the product key is the same for your VHP for both the x86 and x64

versions you are not making a change at all. In any case, the only way to

migrate from x86 to x64 is with a clean or custom installation of Vista.

If you are using a retail edition of VHP you can order the x64 dvd from

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/1033/ordermedia/default.mspx

If your VHP came preinstalled on the computer then you must purchase a

retail copy of VHP in order to qualify for the x64 dvd.

Re: Change key?

OK, but this is the other way around! From 64 to 32?

Re: Change key?

It's neither the "hard way" nor the "easy way"; it's the

only way!
