help with vista update and defender

Hello i'm running vsta 64 bit home premium windows update doesn't update

error message 8024402c same with defender error message 0x8024402f . i tunes

won't update and quicktime something about visual basic script is not

installed or disabled turn off script blocking an anti virus and firewall re

register vbscript then install itunes . can't find that any where i'm using

avast anti virus . i've tried turning off anti virus and firewall for

windows update . Help me please driving me mad . wish i'd stuck with xp
