print driver hp cp1700

I have a 64bit XP box that needs a printer driver for the above printer

which is connected by a jetdirect card.

Nothing has worked yet. Has anybody else been able to get the hp cp1700 to

work with XP 64bit?

1.) Does the printer have a built in PCL or PostScript interpreter? Or is it

a "host based" printer?

2.) Does it behave somewhat like another model of printer? If so, is there a

driver for that model?

3.) There are no HP supplied drivers for this printer for XP x64. There are

Vista 64 drivers.
