Is there a way to install the WIA service in Windows 2000?

My company uses our own application to scan docments through a "Plustek

Mobile Office D28 Corporate" scanner, but our application freezes

periodically. The only fix we have found is to use a WIA driver that uses the

WIA windows service. I see the WIA service is in later Window's O/S' like XP,

but I need it in Windows 2000.

Thanks

Hello PROPHARM,

W2000 doesn't support WIA. Have a look here:

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms792498.aspx

Is there something that can simulate WIA in W2K, or anything that can make

scanning more stable? Maybe a windows update of some sort?

Thanks
