RAID 0 Creating ???

Hello,

I was in the process of setting up my 64-Bit PC with RAID 0 when a very

disconcerning advisory popped up. It said, "ALL DATA WILL BE LOST"! Now I

have done the RAID 0 in the 32-Bit world and never saw that prompt before.

Matter of fact, I was able to plug away on my PC while it is being created.

So why is it saying that in the 64-Bit world???

It's saying that creating a software RAID 0 will destroy your data. Period.

Full stop.

Re: RAID 0 Creating ???

I figured out the errors of my way. I was trying to create the RAID in the

RAID console that comes up during startup. Wrong way... I needed to be

inside windows and than start the RAID through the "Intel Matrix Storage

Console". Now that I started correctly, everything is working peachy keen as

it should!!!
