ATI Catalyst 8.4's released today

Ok. This one goes to our mate Charlie who is quite busy with the MVP Summint.

ATI has just released v8.4 drivers for Vista x64 and XP x64.

Vista x64 users go here:

I wonder why the Radeon HD 2600 AGP version is not listed. They have the

PCIe version available.

I bought the AGP version a few weeks ago. I appear to have already been

running the 8.4 drivers when I checked my driver version a few days ago.

Maybe the release notes will provide me with a clue.

You will have to find it yourself by contacting ATI.

There's an alternative source in France:

http://www.station-drivers.com/page/ati%20catalyst.htm

for official and unofficial ATI drivers that sometimes are applicable to

officially unsupported cards.

Apparently my video card came with a cd with the same version of Catalyst

and drivers that are now available to everyone else for download on

Ati/Amd's web site.

I downloaded the Catalyst 8.4 version and once I tried installing it, it

said everything was already up to date.
