Hi,

I have to increase a system partition on a Win2k server and want to know if

I can proceed using Partition Magic Pro 8.5 with no problem? I have less

than 1 GO of free space and have to add an application or two but doesn't

want to reinstall the entire OS and so... I still have plenty of space on

other partitions that I can use.

Thanks in advance

Re: Partition Magic and Server

Don't think PM works on a server OS. The "no problem" part really depends on

your contingency (backup) plan.

Hi Dave and thanks for replying. Well I can see you haven't really tested it

right? Well I use ghost on a regular basis but there is no way to know

whether it works so far in that particular situation and I don't have a test

server which I think I 'll get soon...

Re: Partition Magic and Server

IIRC PM refuses to run when it detects the server operating system, so I

suspect that is what Dave was referring to. Perhaps if you read your

documentation for the software, you will resolve your dilemma?
