There's also an update of Virtual Server for the same reasons.

Can you post a link? The only thing I can find regarding Virtual Server is

SP1, with a publish date of June 2007...

If you type http://www.microsoft.com in your browser it will take

youj to the Microsoft.Com web site. In the search box on

the upper right side of the main page you type in VPC 2007

SP1, press <Enter> and lo and behold you will be rewarded

with a link to the Service Pack.

And I didn't even break any finger nails do all that work.

He asked about Virtual Server, not VPC.

I don't think a release of an SP2 is announced.

Re: OT - MS Virtual PC SP1

Not a service pack - just a patch. Ooops, excuse me, an "update". We know

how MS hates the term patch. ;)

While I appreciate the link, if I go to download.microsoft.com and search

for Virtual Server Service Pack 1, I'm still only seeing the same links I

saw yesterday that point to the June 07 release. Exactly what keywords did

you use to end up on this page?

Re: OT - MS Virtual PC SP1

The best I remember I searched for Virtual Server 2005. One

of the links was to the VS 2005 home page and in reading it

I noticed it mentioned an update. When I read the

information about the update it sounded like the information

for VPC SP1 and I assumed that was what the discussion was

about. Charlie's post confirmed my methodology and logic

had worked.

Not quite the same as your first response, huh? Did you think that was my

first day on the intarweb?

Re: OT - MS Virtual PC SP1

I don't claim to have the best memory, especially when it

comes to exactly what I type in to do a search - I don't

recored it anywhere either.

I did find the information though after you claimed you

couldn't and that is the critical importance.

If at first you don't succeed, then try, try again.
