Guest Ubiquitor Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 I installed an ISAPI filters (Oracle SSO) on a Windows Server 2000 system wih IIS 5, which serves classic ASP from an ASP application. This configuration functioned without fault. After an upgrade to new hardware and Windows 2003 SE SP2 with IIS 6.0 the old ASP application was copied to this new server. After installing the ISAPI filter (Oracle SSO), numerous worker process errors have started to appear. This is a major annoyance and often results in an IIS 6.0 crash. Is there a configuration or compatibility problem?
Guest Ubiquitor Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 RE: Migration from Server 2000 w/IIS 5 to Server 2003 w/IIS6.0 ISAPI f Technically, this wasn't an upgrade it was the copying of a classic ASP application from a server with a Windows Server 2000 OS running IIS 5 to new hardware with a clean install of Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6.0. If this is a IIS 5 to IIS 6 migration issue, which wasn't done, then can this issue be resolved. The old system software no longer exists.
