My Documents displayed at startup and for Removable drives in My C

When windows xp home SP2 is started the My Documents folder is displayed in

a window. This is not generated by:

a) an entry in the Startup folder in the menu

b) a startup entry in msconfig

c) win.ini

d) system.ini

e) a run command in the registry

Also if a removable drive is connected and accessed through My Computer the

same My Documents folder is displayed.

This applies to each user account displaying their own My Documents.

Any ideas - various antivirus and spyware scans have been done.

My Documents folder automatically opens every time that you log on:

Or if you do not want to use Regedit,

Kelly's Korner has an automated solution.

Line 255, right hand column.

Download this file and then double click on it.
