Explorer.exe uses %100 on one core

Hi all

 

I have been running Vista quite a while now but have come across a problem.

I have search the net but not found a solution that works so wondered if

anyone in here has resolved this issue.

 

If go to the start menu and select 'Computer' the relevant windows explorer

window appears and explorer.exe uses maxes out on one core and just sits

there running. If I minimise the window the processor drops back to %0. I

have changed graphics driver and this had no effect.

 

Any suggestions
