I want to copy a file to another computer on my local network with a batch command. I wrote this statement in the command file: if not exist \\192.168.1.102\g:\Lotus\work\AAccounts.APR goto :end When I run the command file, I get an error message that the "drive not found." ":end" is a label in the batch file. The machine at 192.168.1.102 is accessible from my machine using Explorer. Should the drive letter have a "$" sign after it, as in g$? Doesn't help. Thanks. Cannot sign in to messenger or load hotmail sign-in webpage login.live.com Getting Network timeout for hotmail and Msn instant messenger will not work. Tried trillian. It kind of worked, but kept knocking me off every few seconds. What is odd, it works for people that have direct connection but not dial-up. My mothers work can access hotmail. They have wireless access. The two dial up ISP, I tried timed out. I checked my host file, there is nothing that would block it. I tried different browsers and neither worked. Greg

Have just gotten an E-Mail with attachments. When I click on the attachments, I get a message that tells me "there is no file associated with this action. Create an association in Folder Options in Control pannel." My question is, how do I know what type of file the sender used....and how do I know what file association I should use if I don't know what the sender used. If the sender used some form of picture sender, how would I get the message if I used "Word" association? David of IC

Hi, I am new to this discussion group and am hoping someone will be able to help me with a problem that has cropped up today when I try to use MS Word. I have been using Windows XP Home Edition successfully since its inception years ago. It was pre-installed on my computer when I bought my computer (new). I run the free edition of AVG anti-virus and anti-spyware, Windows Defender and Spybot Search and Destroy. In all the years I have used my computer I have never had a virus, worm or anything funny. Today, when wanting to use MS Word to type a document, the following message popped up in a typical MS box:- You must accept the End User Licence Agreement …

When I try to access the Services and Event Viewer task in the Administrative Tools Folder, I get the message "Access is Denied". Would you know how to fix this problem. The last time I used these tasks was last month when I did the Microsoft Patch Update. I check the Security setting on these files and it show that the local Admin and Domain Admin has Full Rights.

I get to the Adobe Flash Player download page, and then, nothing. The page just stares back at me like, "What? Expect me to do something?" No bar appears at the top of the site due to a possible blocked pop-up needing to be authorized or anything. No, "If your download doesn't start click here." No further options. Nuthin'! Clues? -- ME

I have tried now for days and have spent many hours on the phone with hardware manufacturers and internet provider "experts" but have been unable to solve this problem: Every time I attempt to access a specific website (and ONLY this website), I get an error on page message on far left lower corner. In addition, I cannot see any pictures and a strange message (below) appears. The website in question is http://www.dell.com. The irony is that I am using a Dell computer. We have disabled windows firewall and my antivirus software and still same error. We have updated adobe flash and JAVA. We have attempted to access this site with several browsers and st…
