Hello, I am hoping someone can assist me with a problem I have trying to load WordNet dictionary into a statistics program called R. Below is the error message I receive: > library(wordnet) > initDict() [1] FALSE Warning message: In initDict() : cannot find WordNet 'dict' directory: please set the environment variable WNHOME to its parent Below is output from my computer when I type the following into a DOS window. The actual file is in Program Files (note space) whereas below it is reported as ProgramFiles - I don't know if this makes a difference. by Guest Tom Decaluwé- 2 replies

Hi, On the MSTSC client TS gateway tab you now have the option "bypass TS gateway server for local addresses" My question is, what does the client concider to be local? when does it decide yes i need to use the TS gateway or no i don't i can directly connect? 1) does it look at the local NIC subnet 2) does it look at AD sites and services 3) does it do some sort of connection test 4).... what determins the local yes or no answer? As a second question i see you can select auto detection for TS gateway, but how does this work? 1) does it broadcast for a TS gateway 2) does it query AD for TS gateway servers 3) does it look at specific DNS recor…

Cap locks and multiple selection of lines in Excell
by Guest David- 4 replies
In Office 2007, in Excell, I occasionally have the program throw a fit and begin to select 2 or 3 lines or cells. I also notice at the same time, the cap lock key is reversed. When it is locked, I type in lowercase and when it is unlocked, I type in uppercase. I haven't figured out what I did to cause it or how to reverse it. I usually save the document, close the program and re-open or reboot. Other times in just seems to go away after a little while. Any clues as to what is happening? -- The more you know the less you know until the day comes you know nothing.

Hi, I published RemoteAPP for two different applications in my TS Server 2008. In the client computers, I need to save two different Windows usernames for these two RemoteAPP sessions. But, the problem is, the RDP RemoteAPP is able to save only one username for both the sessions. Can anybody suggest how to do this as per my above requirement. Regards. -- Message posted via WinServerKB.com http://www.winserverkb.com/Uwe/Forums.aspx/windows-ts/200809/1

Windows Install

Would it be better to re-install Windows XP to repair it or to just choose repair. I think if I reinstall it I will loose all my data, am I correct? My computer keeps freezing up and blue screening, and I figure this would be the best way to elevate this problem. Please help.

RE: home page
by Guest Patrick Ryan- 0 replies

RE: home page Probably an antivirus program is blocking attempts to change the home page. If you are using Norton Internet Security, turn this off by: 1. Open Norton Internet Security 2. Click Options, select Norton Antivirus 3. Under Internet, click Home Page Protection 4. Uncheck Turn Home Page Protection On Other systems are probably similar. I386 folder in the wrong location
by Guest rsl18@sbcglobal.net- 2 replies

I have no idea whatsoever how it happened, or when, except that it has been at least a year, that the system folder I386 got located under a subdirectory that I created to store certain text documents. C:\Documents and Settings\Lynn&Kathy\My Documents\Cecil\Discharge 31 Dec 1959\I386 I haphazardly selected a couple of files/folders located in this specific I386 folder; WINNTUPG and FSFILTER.DLL. I did a search for them, and determined that they existed nowhere but in this subdirectory that I created in My Documents. Other folders, such as those named SYSTEM32, seem to be located many places. Where should the I386 folder that contains such files/…

The bloatware burning suite has now a major revision, i.e., they bumped it from 200 megs download to 370 megs. :) Only for Nero die-hards. http://www.nero.com/enu/nero9-introduction.html I have not made up my mind yet. There's a downloadable trial here: http://www.nero.com/enu/downloads-nero9-trial.php which I might try in my Virtual Machine XP. Carlos
