Hi, I've always had the question (but kept forgetting to ask) of where and how to find a file that gets deleted on a server from a workstation. In an experiment I used a recovery program to search both machines but was unable to find the file. I could have missed it of course but what's the consensus on where the file exists and how to get at it? Thanks, Mike

I ran CHKDSK on my Fat 32 D:\drive and it left a file fragment in a folder on the drive. I ran CHKDSK by right clicking the drive selecting Properties and then Tools tab and selecting Error Checking. Which notified me that in order to run it will do so after the next reboot. The file is File0000.chk RecoveredFileFragment 4kb. What do I do with this file fragment? And is this a bad thing that it was found?
