Booting up from a XP pro with sp3, after login with my account. The login begins in a normal fashion: preferences are loaded, there is disk activity for a while, the background image is displayed, but before any icons or toolbar entries appear a logout suddenly occurs. If I try again the logout is immediate. I try other users account, it login and immediate logout as well. How to resolve this.

I am the proud owner of a copy of 2008 Enterprise with 25 Cals, as of Friday there :) I have one question, and I know that should really know the answer to this, but.... I am about to purchase hardware for this fine product, but I want to give it a blast right now, which got me thinking, I know I can install it onto some existing piece of hardware and just use it in pre-activation mode (eval?) for the tryout, but will I be able to move it to another server if it has been activated on another? Hi. I recently re-installed XP SP2 after a crash. In device manager under "Other devices" there are (4)items that have a yellow question mark. "Multimedia Controller" "PCI Simple Communications Controller" "PCI Simple Communications Controller" "SM Bus Controller" (driver unknown, no date, no version, not digitally signed under properties on all (4) drivers) When I try to update the drivers, (all 4) items get the same results. I'm running XP Home / SP3. All up to date. Avira and ZA free versions in use. Long story short, my 'explore tree' now includes folders My Docs, Shared, Guest and my personal user Doc folders. Below these, I have 'My Network Places' expanded to MS Terminal Svcs - MS Windows Network - Web Client Network and 'My Web Sites on MSN' ...Also unable to block IP range and port selections. Hi, We have a: Windows 2003 domain Windows 2008 TS licence server with per user TS licences installed Windows 2008 terminal server set to per user mode Both Winows 2008 servers are member servers of the domain. Licence server is a member of TS Licence servers group. Terminal Server is a member of TS Computers group on licence server. Licence server diagnostics reports that everything is OK. Good Morning to All, We are planning to upgrade our Windows 2003 R2 STD Terminal servers to Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition. Can anyone let me know the Risks invloved in this? My main concern is do i need to upgrade my Domain and Exchange servers also to Enterprise edition? Can an Enterprise Terminal server be the client of Windows 2003 R2 Std Domain server? Please advise. Hi, I set up several custom papersizes. These papersizes are used to choose the correct papertray of the printer. Unfortunatly the printer ignores them if their ID is greater than 128. Tried to delete some older papersizes but the id is always incremented. So how can I change the papersize-id? Many Thanks Christian
