Quick question about the "date created" on files. Is that date always the date the file was created, or placed in a particular folder? Or is it possible to modify that date? I am trying to verify when something was placed in a particular folder, and want to make sure that the "date created" isn't modified if the file is modified. Thanks!

System XP SP2 with all the updates. When I run Belarc Advisor it indicates that KB926247 needs to reinstalled. I have tried to reinstall after removing but it will not let me, tried several ways. A popup says there is a problem "SP3-UBER" It list c:\win\system32\XPsp3res.dll is part of the problem ? The version I have in sys32 is 5.1.2600.3268. I notice xpsp3res.dll is located in several different places with different vers. System restore reinstalls KB926247. Would someone check the vers of xpsp3res in System32 and post it ? Thanks Fred

XP Pro SP3 Using the Explorer, I double click on My Network Places, and in the right pane there should be a choice "Add Network Place" choice. It launches a wizard for adding a new link to the My Network Places. I have 2003 DC setup as a GC, DNS and FSMO holder. It running the time service for the domain. The old NTP server was Firewall appliance and that function has been moved, so the time service is loggings errors because it can't sync. I've gone in to the registry and changed the NTP address to the IP of MS time server 207.46.x.x. Anyway, each morning I come back to work and the IP address has reverted to the original address. I'm at my wits end. I read numerous docs on this process and gone through the steps several times but the IP keeps changing. Hey gang, I think I have messed up here. I just installed 64 bit Vista Ultimate, retail full version, in what I thought was a dual boot environment. I added a new sata hard drive, and installed Vista on it. Now, I do not get an option when I boot to choose wich OS to boot to, it only boots into Vista. Under Vista, it shows as my C drive, I see the partion on the other hard drive my XP Pro is on, however under Vista it shows as drive E?
