Hi: Trying to create an interpolation(formula available) matrix using time (rows , i.e 1,2..10) and the type (Item a, b, c, d) so that the expanded matrix shows values in increments of 0.01, i.e. 1.01,1.02,1.03 etc. for each a, b, c, d. WindowsXP Home Edition;SP2.....PC set to download all Microsoft Updates Automatically. I have Installed Norton Internet Security 2007 twice (NIS 2007).....it is now running fine. Following each Install when I went to Open Kodak EasyShare Software (Photo Album) I would get the Windows Error message that my MSXML file was damaged/Missing or coruptted and it could be repaired by clicking on OK (Easyshare would not open). When you clicked on OK, the repair proceeded....and when finished, EasyShare would open. When I use the internet I can't view any options for the drop down boxes, when I click on the arrow the box appears white and when I scroll down they still don't appear. The address bar works fine but on a website the options appear blank. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi! Given a particular name, is there a simple way of determining by what means Windows XP resolved that name into a network address? That is, if I type in a name and Windows resolves that to an IP address, how do I know if it resolved the name via the DNS cache, a DNS server, WINS cache, WINS server or the hosts file? While I'm asking, is there also a trivial way to find out which interface packets aimed at a given IP address will be sent to (without having to figure it out oneself, obviously)? Cheers, mm

uploaded win 2000, screen comes up to put in user id and password. I do not have either. I have called several win 2000 support help on the phone, but no one can help me, and referred me to this site. When I turn computer on, I do not get any other options, just the sign on page. Help.

Hi All Windows Server 2003 I have just put the first Vista (Ulitmate) workstation on to the domain. Installed all the domain printers. When I logged into the Server I noticed that in the printers folder all the Vista workstation printers had automatically been discovered and installed. eg. "Brother HL-5130 series on florence (from SHARON) in session 1" and also made it the default printer for the server. I need to be able to stop this from happening or when we get many Vista works it will be crazy in the print folder. This does not happen with any Win XP workstation. Hi I have recently got a new PC and Vista 64 bit home premium edition. When I enable SLI mode and run aero the screen goes blank. Also when I run windows perfomance test it gets to the end looks like its trying to enable aero and the screen goes blank. When I disable SLI mode and run windows perfomance test it auto enables aero. I've tried hotfix KB936710 and it doesnt help and forceware 162.22 Will this affect my gaming. Can any one help. I have 2 8500GT 512MB on a ASUS P5N-E SLI with 4GB RAM with Q6600 Any help or advice would be realy appreciated Thanks

Apologies for cross posting I do hope I'm in the right group. On start up I get a dialogue box headed Windows No Disk and in the body of the box it states : Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c This happens at about the same time as AVG 7.5 free edition launches to do an automatic update on start up. Hard disk & monitor spring back after varying intevals of time, using first start->turn off->standby, then later power management enablilng power switch to effect standby. Have tried closing systray apps and turning off cable modem. No success. The help files don't point to a trouble shooter for standby. So far, haven't found solution in MS online. Hello, I have backed up my files, transferred them from the original PC to a LapTop via a USB direct network connection, yet when I use the F&ST Wizard to retrieve the saved file I get the message "The location that you specified does not contain stored information. Please type a valid folder path into the edit box. If you entered a path to a folder on a removable disk, the disk must be in the drive" Now I have also burnt the backup file (550mb) to a cd and a dvd, and neither neither will read either, it gives the message; "Please insert disk 1" and when you hit OK it says "The disk you inserted is not the correct one.
