Hello, everyone. I have a computer that has been infected with a virus/ worm/trojan/whatever. I'm not completely sure which one, but my computer does the automatic shutdown thing (initiated by NT Authority \System). I think I have the virus cleaned off, but the OS has been damaged. Can someone who knows advise me on the plan below? 1) Remove suspect drive from PC. Replace with a new, store-bought drive. 2) Install clean OS, updates programs, virus scan, etc. 3) Re-attach suspect drive as slave. 4) Copy necessary files over from suspect drive, leaving out Program Files and anything in ~\Local Settings. I am trying to setup roaming profiles and 1 computer is causing me problems. This user account has been logged onto via 3 different machines and I am trying to setup roaming profiles from the main machine and get that profile to update on the 2 laptops. Hi. I've a win2003-r2 with terminal services in administration mode. When I connect from a mstsc client (on a winxp sp2) to the server desktop, I expect that each printer on my clients maps to a printer on the server. Hello, I have succesfully created a RDPClient connection and opened it fullscreen. When I minimize it, it collapses to the taskbar as expected. But then I cannot maximize it again. When I right click over it on taskbar all options are greyed out except 'Close' Lawrence

I was trying to upgrade Internet Explorer when the system froze. Since then, every time I started the computer, it would hang. I found the guilty process to be the spool server using 99% of the CPU. If I stop the print spooler the problem goes away. I looked at spoolsv.exe and it has not been modified since Friday, June 10, 2005. Any suggestions? THANKS -- Bill

We are running W2K3 R2. Under a newly created Namespace I create a folder, when I change the name of a folder My PC running XP SP2 with the latest updates reboots. This also happens on other PC with the same config. The PC also reboots when modifing files say make a change to a word doc click save the PC Reboots. Any Ideas??
