On my Windows 2000 computer I have WordPerfect installed which I no longer use. I want to uninstall it, but it is not listed in the Control Panel under Add and Remove Programs. I also checked the Program Files in Windows Explorer and could not find an uninstall file entry in WordPerfect. I would like to know some method where I can safely and completely uninstall uninstall this program.

Viewing all cookies
by Guest john- 2 replies

I have IE7. I would like to view/edit ALL my cookies. When I go to view cookies all I can view/edit is around the first 100 or so. That is about the letter "E" . All cookies after that I can not view/edit. It is as if the program (IE) will not allow me to see or edit those. Is there a limit? Is there a work around? I have been runing a spyware program that loaded, during installation. It loaded 2,000+ blocked cookies into the system. Should I just delete all? If, so that would get rid of all my blocked ones. Why can I not see all?

I am following http://www.windowsnetworking.com/kbase/WindowsTips/WindowsXP/RegistryTips/Customization/Controlthumbnaildisplaysize.html to set the thumbnail size ie: Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer Name: ThumbnailSize Type: REG_DWORD Value: 25-256 I tried 25 and 255, restarting my file browser in between. Nothing changes. Why would this be? What is the right way? Thanks.

I started installing Windows XP last night. I let the installer format my new 250 GB hard drive overnight. In the morning I find it is installing and has had an error copying some file. I tell it to continue anyway and when it finishes, it restarts and tells me it can't boot from the hard disk. I decide to reboot from the CD and install again but now it says my hard drive is only 131 GB (down from 233 GB binary). Anyone know where all that space went? Thanks.

Hello, I'm looking to automate something. People log on to an XP box as the local machine user and I don't want to change this. I'd like to find a script that could do the following as a scheduled task: 1. Log off the local machine account. 2. Log in again as a domain account on the same machine. Is this even possible?? Thank you, Tom
