Dear Moderator/Members I have an XP Professional with SP2, P-IV 3.0 GhZ, 256 MB RAM, 80 GB HDD PC. I am trying to add Microsoft Lifewebcam 1.0 Hardware to this pc. As per the instructions & Software CD-Rom provided with the cam, I have installed CAM Software 1st. In the process of installation it gave a message to connect the cam to USB Port. I did the same. Then it started searching for drivers for the cam. I have shown the cd-rom disk driver folder (VX600), it says that it is not the correct file. I have a notebook with a hard disk patitioned into drives C and D. When I click on My Computer the path is C:\Documents and Settings\All Usser\Documents. I would like to change the path from drive C to drive D. How can this change be made? -- KC

98 SE; system purchased in '99' Started "Old Faithful" tonight and it won't even run the POST. Least not all of it. I get to a screen that detects the mouse, keyboard and cd-rom and proper amt. of RAM. Or is that all the POST? That's as far as it goes. It just stays on that screen. Does not respond to system setup key; startup floppy never starts. Any thoughts? Thanks

WinXP - I found out I was running out of HD space, so I started digging to find files that I can free up. When I right-click on C:\Winnt in windows explorer and click on properties, it shows 38 GB in 37349 files. However, if I select all contents of Winnt, then right-click and hit properties, it shows 6.9 GB in 35593 files. I'm not so worried about the file count mismatch, but the size mismatch has me dead in the water. I have a shared folder on the network that attempts to sync up each time I log in - I killed that process this morning (had to hard reboot), so I'm pretty sure that has something to do with my situation. I moved a php site from a unix server to a Windows 2003 Server. I installed PHP for Windows. I tried running the site and all I get is "No input file specified". Any thoughts? Can I get this site to work or is it a lost cause? Thanks!

A pretty new xp installation. Now when I attached my ext hdd, the pc detected the hdd but when I try to open it by double click the partition, this message appears: 'Please go to Control Panel to install and config system components" Why should this message appears? I can still see the content in the ext hdd if I right click the partition>open. Did I deleted some files from the ext hdd that should not have been deleted? Update notification on boot this AM. Update set to automatic, but can't get anything to download and install. Tried manual and same result. Just won't download any of 4 listed updates. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. I did go to another web site and was able to dowload files. What do I do now?

When I reboot or turn on my computor I get a message - Keyhook.exe-entry point not found. the procedure entry point ?ResdKeyString@ SiSreg@@SAHPADOHOPAUHKEY_@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library SiSBase.dll. My computor is slow & when I went into control panel to see if it was there, it was but no kbs with it. I presume it has been deleted. Can I reinstall?

Can FolderShare work on Win2003 Terminal Services? I have remote salespeople who need access to documents (but I don't want to share entire remote drives) for printing. FolderShare seems like a good solution (share remote files with the connecting laptop), but will it function under TS? Thanks.

I have a Toshiba Tecra A4 laptop running Windows XP Pro. It has 2 USB ports. When I connect a mouse to any of the USB ports, I see the following message (displayed only once, not consistenly each time I connect the mouse to the USB port): USB Device Not Recognized One of the USB ports has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it.
