Hey guys got a bit of an interesting project here. I want to use the TopazLabs software to upscale and clean up alot of older early-2000s digital photos. If all goes to plan, maybe move onto the massive family library. I have a 2018 i7 Mini with eGPU and RX580 running Mojave. The 580 was a good GPU and still holds strong for what I do but I was thinking of how to upgrade my system to run Topaz Labs software better. What GPU is the best that runs under Mojave? I just bought a Magic Keyboard A2449 (touchID) and after connecting it bluetooth works for a few seconds and stops working. The keyboard works perfectly on other devices. Any solution? I've got Catalina running on my 4,1(5,1) for a few months now, and has been working without much trouble. Though recently I tried to disable SIP via the recovery partition (was unnecessary because using DosDude1's patcher automatically disables SIP) and found out that my recovery partition was non-existent. Maybe it's not a big problem, but it's been bothering me for quite a while. I don't remember when my wallpaper could no longer be replaced. I'm not sure when it happened, or if it happened when I switched to Open Core boot, or if I did something I shouldn't have done. I am currently using a Beyimei USB 3.1 card on my cMP 5.1. But a few days ago I saw the aforementioned USB card on Amazon and ordered one unit. According to Inateck, the 5211 is compatible with 10.8.2 and later. Has anyone tried this card? Source: MacRumors

My 5,1 has all the horsepower and a 192khz/24b audio interface hooked to it constantly. And I just got a really nice upgrade to my studio speakers. Please tell me there’s a workaround to be able to use Apple Music Hi-Res Lossless playback other than upgrading to Big Sur. Web app? Hacked install of newer Music app? Seems like a waste of a perfectly powerful pro-level computer to not be able to play hifi streams. Source: MacRumors

So after I updated my iPhone 13 Pro to ios 15.4. I noticed my phone is no longer charging wirelessly. I removed the case. I tried different wireless pads. I tried apple's official magsafe and adapter direct to an outlet but still not charging. I tried to restart and force restart still nothing. It still charges however thru lightning cable. Hi all, not sure if anyone has done this before. Basically my iPhone 6 is no longer turning on and keeps going into "DFU" mode, and it seems like the only way to fix it is to reset/reboot it. Problem with that is that it will erase all the data and I haven't backed up in a few years. I see there are a few tools out there, notably 3utools, Tenorshare ReiBoot, and iMyFoneFixppo that apparently can "download the firmware" and install that on the phone without damaging/deleting the data. Hello All! I've had the Titan Gigabyte installed and working wonderfully on my Mac Pro 5,1 (High Sierra) for two + years now. I'm still doing a soft boot into Windows. Everything was working just fine yesterday. Today? NO! After a soft boot into Windows I can see that the Titan is recognized, as is the Apollo (x8P) however when I reboot my Mac it's not being recognized. Hey Folks! I'm considering an Open Core upgrade but first I wanna ensure that my machine is ready for one. I guess night mode is only useful on static objects, right? because my pics are blurry if someone or something moves.. the camera asks to hold still but on certain situations I can't ask the person or subject not to move. Best to turn off night mode then Continue reading...

My iPhone 12 (Pro) camera vibrates non-stop. I can hear and feel the vibration. I've isolated the problem to the 1x lens only. If I switch to the 0.5x or 2x lens, the vibration stops. In addition, the options for Video and Slo-Mo randomly disappear and the RAW has a line running through it (as in RAW is turned off). I just bought a Mac Pro Tower 5,1 - 2012 Nedlahem with an empty 1tb hard drive. I currently have a USB with High Sierra install on it and it tells me I cannot install without a firmware update. I also have an early 2008 Mac Pro tower flashed to run el cap. Can I just pull the OS drive out of the 2008 with el cap and put in the 2012 5,1 and upgrade?
