Has any W6800x owners come across overheating or performance issues with Adobe products? My current setup is 3.3 12-core, 96gb 2933 mhz ddr with the stock 580x card It seems like it's been slowing down for quite some time. My M1 Max laptop just seems so much snappier and quicker. I mainly work with Photoshop and Lightroom with some Premiere work here and there. I realized I can even hold more tabs open on my MBP than my Mac Pro even though I have more ram on my Mac Pro. I wonder if anyone else is having this issue? I will be at a bus stop/train station, and tracking the vehicle in Apple Maps, and all of a sudden if it says there is less than say 3-5 minutes remaining, the bus/train just "falls off" the map and it shows me the next one that is coming instead. Is this just to prevent people from running for a bus or something? This does not happen in Transit, Google, or my local transit agency's app. So I assume the issue is with Apple. Just a day old iphone but really annoying , every time unlocking the phone the screen is dim for a split of a second and then goes to normal. I recently installed Catalina on my mac pro 3,1 (early 2008) using dosdude1's patcher, and I really like the result except for one thing: none of my usb/serial adaptors work. I have FTDI and CH340 devices which used to work before the install, and still work on a laptop with a supported Catalina install, but none of them work on my mac pro. Hi, Does anyone have a high end 2019 Mac Pro and can comment on what Windows virtualization is like with VMWare or Parallels? I prefer to have Mac OS on one monitor, then have a Windows 10 OS on another monitor and switch between the two via a virtualization program. Would Windows be efficient and snappy enough to do light gaming, video editing, etc? Hi, has anyone tried installing Windows 11 beta on 7,1? I already have Windows 10 installed and when I ran the upgradability check tool, it said since there is no TPM 2.0 installed Windows 11 is impossible. But I think this can be an error as it seems like Windows 11 supports even older Intel CPU’s, but I might be wrong as this is Xeon processor. Any experience sharing will be great. Thanks. Ok, I need some help here because I am going crazy. I cannot get my contacts to sync across my iPhone and newly purchased MacBook Pro. I also somehow managed to mess up the contacts on my phone because the names are not appearing in the text messaging thread when they were definitely there before. After successfully installing and using Monterey via OCLP on my 4,1->5,1 for a couple of weeks. I decided (big mistake) to switch to Opencore 0.7.6, to use the Thunderbolt card. Now I'm unable to boot my machine. Even after booting 4 times (PRAM) the screen never turns on and then shuts off before displaying anything. Hello, i've just bought a MP1.1 just to do some tinkering. I flashed it to the 2.1 aswell as installed OS X 10.7.5. When I was in the middle of installing, my monitor got black, i thought it was a faulty graphics card at first, but then I replaced it with a GT240, still nothing. I'm trying to install any debian-based version of linux (ie, Ubuntu) on my Mac Pro 7,1 but am unable. I ran the Ubuntu desktop live-usb one time and managed to get ubuntu mostly installed on a separate nvme drive in a PCIe slot, albeit ruining my windows bootcamp partition on the Apple internal SSD. '13 MP, I have been using an APC Smart-UPS for almost 9 years, battery most recently replaced 18 months ago. Its connected via supplied USB cable and UPS shutdown options was part of the energy settings. Not using any APC apps of any kind, worked flawlessly for 9 years. Today I had a power spike that tripped the APC breaker. After getting everything reset, it no longer shows up under power settings. Can't find it under System Report under Power or USB.
