Legacy Windows Archive ( Read Only )

Everytime I boot up my computer the language toolbar appears in the taskbar. I remove it, but the next time I boot up, it's back again. How do I get it to quit coming back everytime I boot the computer.

Friend has PC that on boot gets the folowing error: "Windows Protection Error While Initializing Device CONFIGMG" "You Need to restart your computer" "System Halted" Any ideas? TIA

I'd like to upgrade an existing server to 64-bit; I want to use more than 3.5 gigs of ram. (Without having to buy new software.) The current server is running on an OEM install on an HP server. If it's anything like XP, I would normally need an OEM install CD to match the key. I've upgraded Vista computers to 64-bit and used the same license key, will this work for Server? Anyone know where I'd get the software? Thanks for the help!

Just wondering about firefox. Can I have IE and Firefox installed at the same time? What about emailing in firefox, does it have a 'outlook express' type of thing? Is firefox better? faster? I use an XP pentium4. Apreciate your opinion. thanks Botti

everytime i try to view a file, a window pops up "windows installer" and says preparing to install but it does not install. do i have to download something in order for this program to install properly, if so i need all the help i can get. thanks

How can I get more font size selections in the drop down menu for: Display Properties: Appearance: Font size. The drop down menu lists only "Normal" I am using "Windows Classic style" with Brick color scheme. I need some larger font size selections. The article: http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/windowsxp/appearance.aspx mentions that this selection exists but I cannot find any info to suggest how to add additional selections to the list. The article generally reiterates the obvious and is not helpful about my question. I need larger fonts for accessibility reasons. Thanks

We are migrating to a new Win2K3 Server. We are using Symantec Antivirus 8. I have installed it on the new server and switched the workstations to connect and get their updates from the new server. The old server has quite a long list of exclusions. Does anyone know where the list lives (I didnt see it in the registry) so that I can import it or copy that config file to the new install? Thanks

after updating to sp3, i've been unable to play videos online. i'm told flash player is needed, but it IS installed. this has only started happening after the sp3 update. any way to roll back from sp3?

I have a strange problem. 1 of 2 DCs (not the PDCe or FSMO) rebooted/crashed yesterday and it looked like a power failure as the reason came up unknown and there were no errors/warnings in event log. I also checked the HP logs as this is a Proliant server ML350. I removed the network connection and it booted up OK- notwithstanding the expected errors. I was able to start the sevrices manually and get the DC online. Now I am trying to find the problem. I am leading towards a GP cause. The only possible issue was that it had been pointing to itself as the time source and not the PDCe. I corrected that but didnt reboot yet as I am letting it …
