Hi I have the MacBook Pro (2021) with M1 Pro and 512GB space init. But I am keeping on running out of storage. I know I should've bought it with more storage but still. I know that I can't upgrade it so I was thinking on getting an external SSD. I use my Mac for gaming and coding. I want to run Xcode, Node env and etc. smoothly even for the projects on the external disk. And I use it for gaming because I'm away for college so it is kinda my only option but games use up a lot of space. Hey guys, I'm writing this in the hope that one of you will know what's happening to my mac. I just bought this new macbook and I'm trying to calibrate the display so that the colors match with my old mac, the only issue is that as I'm calibrating it, once I picked the name of my custom display, my screen instantly darkens, right as I arrive at the "Conclusion" part and then my screen display looks awful. Hello all, I am trying to import my photos to my sandisk ssd via mac. However, I’m unable to do so when I try to use the photos application and try to import all new pictures it doesn’t start to import and it says ‘0 out of 8,000’ and nothing will change for 15 minutes. While I was using Image capture I am having troubles to import MOV files as I left my mac and phone for a hour and not even a single file got transferred, any help or suggestions would be appreciated help. Hi, guys. First post in this subreddit. I just want to ask if putting a microfiber cloth on top of my M3 Air keyboard is fine while I'm using it? The reason why I'm doing so is to keep my keyboard clean and maybe in the future, maintain its resell value. If I sold it in the future/trade in for a laptop upgrade, then it would be helpful and cheaper. MacBook Pro M3 Pro is on its way, my only priorities are blindingly bright display for using outside and battery life. I know this should get like 20 hours of battery life but I literally don’t need anything else about the M3 Pro, M3 would have been fine however it was on sale for only $50 more than the base model M3 so I went for it and I get an extra USB C port on the right side so why not? Hi, So Im curious if anyone else has this issue but the first time I used an app that used the Live Activity feature on my iPhone it worked just fine. For future uses the Live Activity feature is gone completely, I have made sure they are enabled in settings under each app but I never see them again and only get push notifications for the app. They worked early on in my phone life but seems like the support from apps has diminished since they were introduced to the point of never working...
