So yesterday, out of the blue, my iPhone made some glitchy noise. After that, it just got completed muted & no haptics , no calls no videos, Apple Music won’t play a song so looks like a software issues as when I’m restarting I’m getting some haptics back but they go away after some time & if the music/video plays it has glitchy sound or won’t play at all. Most often when I restart my iPhone. I have my iCloud Drive sync already turned off. It is very annoying when it appears back again and again. Is there any solution for this? All of a sudden, I’m gettin a notification that says my camera is not genuine apple part. It’s a 13 pro max that I bought new from apple when they first came out. Hi there last night I installed a VST Plugin (Native Instruments Massive X) for music creation on Mac Pro 5,1 but after installation it said: "MASSIVE X requires an AVX-compatible CPU" so every time I load the plugin it crashes. my cpu is Xeon X5690 as we know it only supports Intel® SSE4.2 an it happens to be the best cpu we can put in Mac Pro 5.1 I believe more applications need this feature in the near future. so what happens to Mac Pro 5,1 then?! Hello, my cMP 4,1 dual cpu tray is missing the RG220 resistor, a "tech" was unscrewing that screw and apparently hit the resistor, by accident, he told me he saw it, but it's tiny and got it lost before he could even measure it... We were replacing the plastic screws and thermal paste under the Northbridge... Could anyone please just measure it with a multimeter and tell me the value in Ohms, so I can replace it asap? MicroCenter has the 2023 base Mac Pro M2 Ultra for $4999 brand new. I got one from them, they're excellent to deal with. If you have a Micro Center near you, that is a nice $2000 savings and makes it a better value than it was before. You can add Apple Care on it as well like normal after purchase, they are an authorized Apple seller. Just figured I'd share since that is where I got mine and someone was on the fence! I have a solo video podcast and I used to record it on Photo Booth. Photo Booth gives an excellent blurred background effect. I started encountering an error where all my long podcasts had corrupted video and audio - recording from photo booth. I lost so many great podcasts and was unable to recover them. So I stopped using Photo Booth. I switched to QuickTime, which is 100% reliable. But QuickTime does not have the nice blurred background effect that Photo Booth has. So for the last year and a bit my Intel MacBook Pro has multiple times gone into the “enter a password to unlock the disk Macintosh HD” loop. I learned to solve this by going into internet recovery mode and reinstalling MacOS. Now the big problem is I don’t have enough free space to reinstall MacOS now. What do I do? Note: I have a windows bootcamp partition which if cleared into Macintosh HD would give me more than enough space. Currently using VLC which is slow, and Handbrake(v.2015) which keeps doubling the file size and also slow. Need help either with handbrake setting recommendation to simply change the container. I bought a 165HZ screen, but I thought to myself that I only need 60HZ so I only bought a 4k 60HZ HDMI cable. However when I plug the HDMI in I see that I do have a 120HZ option. Why is this? So, I’ve got this old MacBook lying around (model A1181). It used to start up with a folder and a question mark, which meant the OS was corrupted. I tried to install a new OS from a USB drive, but I didn’t realize the hard drive was damaged, and it just froze on me.
