I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and somehow managed to get a deep scratch bear the bottom of the front glass. I purchased Apple Care and took the phone in but they said it doesn't affect functionality so they won't fix it. While I understand why they can't fix every little scratch, this one is deep and is very noticeable and uncomfortable to run my finger across, and I expect to keep this phone for 3-4 years. Just what the title says. Noticed it when lying in bed in pitch black last night, scrolling Pinterest in dark mode (night shift OFF). Horizontal lines just sort of showing up and disappearing as I scroll. Is this PWM? Does it have something to do with the 120Hz screen? Or is it something else entirely? I realized yesterday that I’m not getting notifications from any of my apps (ex. Instagram, Facebook, Nest) on my 12 pro. I’m still receiving iMessage notifications, but nothing else. Nothing in my notifcation settings has changed, my phone isn’t on Focus or Do Not Disturb… I’m at loss! I updated my iOS to 16.7.2 and restarted my phone. I can’t believe I even have to ask this, but I’ve tried Googling and also turned off every relevant setting I can find in Camera and Privacy & Security. How do I disable my browser from displaying “location is included” every time I upload something? I’ve turned it off manually by selecting options, but it resets every time. Hello, I noticed that while recording a video, SOMETIMES, the sound when playing it, sounds like air is blown to the microphone. As I explain in another thread, my phone's FaceID doesn't work in sunshine. A senior Apple support person suspects it's because my battery's health in 76%. Can battery degradation affect whether features work? Does this sound likely? I always thought battery degradation was only about having less battery life. Updated an iPhone 6s Plus to iOS 15.8 and now the phone is constantly dropping service and displays NO SERVICE. Areas the phone once operated with one or two bars now have NO SERVICE. Reset network setting twice. Powered off and on a dozen times. Hard reboot a couple of time. Still no luck. The phone worked well before the update now it’s unreliable at best. Continue reading...

Find my friend shows my friend at my address yet the device ( iPhone ) shows the person at their actual location. The location of Find my friend has been static at my address for a week, that being the home location for a while now. It even states updated 2 mins ago. I just got the 15 PM (iOS 17.1.1), and I've noticed that my location in navigation apps isn't accurate and is always moving around. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the different apps, resetting my location settings, resetting the phone, etc. All to no avail. While on my 13 Pro Max, the estimated radius is only a few feet, on my 15PM it's much wider. See the attached screenshots below for a comparison. tsialex, have a little issue with my new MP 5.1 i just got. 2012 MP 5.1 came with ATI card, 16GB RAM, After i received it it booted with H-Sierra SSD sata and it booted and ran. I did try adding additional ram, but after poweron the power light would just flash over and over, since i have removed the extra RAM. Hi All, When I search for something in my IOS mail app, emails from 1 month-10 years ago with the same search subject as I was looking for stay in my inbox. Only way to get rid of them is to delete email my account off the phone, and then re add it again. Anyone else have this issue or can provide a fix? Dear Friends, I've had a problem with the mac pro not starting... Only the fans are spinning, there is no start-up sound, when you turn it on, a red led lights up on the memory card for a moment, but then it disappears, I've attached a picture showing that there is a yellow led which is constantly lit.
