Today, when I placed a DoorDash order, I got up-to-the-moment delivery status in the Dynamic Island on my iPhone. This is the first time I’ve seen it support Love Activities, and I’m curious if anyone else has noticed it recently. It’s been asked about often by users, and now it’s suddenly working. Interestingly, there hasn’t been any update to the DoorDash app that mentions this new feature. Just the other day, I saw a post where a support person for DoorDash stated that they have no plans to support Dynamic Island or Live Activities in the near future, but they welcome feedback. My Calendars app was showing all of my reminders. All of the reminders have randomly disappeared without me adjusting any settings or updating the phone. I have restarted the phone and the reminders still don't show up. I called apple support but the guy I spoke to had no idea. Does anyone know how to fix this? I bought my wife a new 16 pro. Since migrating she’s been having issues with iMessage - specifically when I send her a message. Every iMessage I send, her phone says it’s coming from an old Google voice number that ive disabled and deleted. I’m out if possible fixes: I’ve disabled, deleted that number and the app I’ve de / reactivated iMessage on both phones I’ve confirmed that send / receive on my phone is assigned to the correct number I’ve deleted my contact info from her phone multiple times and ensured that number is no where on her device or mine No matter what I do - her phone insists that when I send message it’s coming from a different number. Hi, I customized my phone’s apps years ago when widgets and all that emerged and it was very manual. Opening each app had a little banner that I trained myself to ignore but I’m wondering now, years later is there a go-around to this? My issue is the following when I'm driving (Not using CarPlay, just my phone in driving mode): 1) Audio app 1 playing (say Pocket Casts). 2) I want to now listen to Spotify so I say "Siri, play X on Spotify" 3) Siri says "Ok, now playing X on Spotify" 4) Moment later, Pocket Casts continues to play. The only hands free fix I've found is to have it first open Spotify on the screen, then asking it to play, and SOMETIMES that works. I noticed that web apps, the ones you can create by adding a supported website as a home screen icon, no longer obey Safari's location settings. I always had my precision location turned off for Safari and web apps would follow that setting but after iOS 18, maybe after 18.1, web apps would show my precise location regardless of if it's turn off for Safari. Lately (at least since 18.1) when I try to select “Block Sender” on an email, through any menu method, it doesn’t work. No red circle/slash icon appears on the email, and if you go back into the menus, it still says “Block Sender” not “Unblock Sender” Anyone else experiencing this? So here we go again. I need to change the password on a website I frequent -- which is something I've done numerous times, but not in recent months. So I go to "Settings" and it's not there. Under "General" there is "Auto Fill and Passwords" but there's no access to the password list. Under "Touch ID and Passcode" there is no list either. Nothing under "Privacy and Security" either. I've been a Windows user for a long time, Windows being an accessible and beautiful (at the time) operating system, until recently. Previously, I had already been using macOS to use programs like Mathematica, MATLAB and COMSOL for my work, but I never wanted to jump to this system to use it personally on a daily basis. But, I think I've reached a point where I've reconsidered that decision. However i was just able to achieve 45MB/s, so i aborted and tried via wifi direct aka peer2peer. Same thing just 52mbps max. Does anyone know why or how to get the speed up?
