All this is apple’s doing, like they always do. They promote everything on high level but at the end we receive just a one big crap. Right now I am referring to mail app. I was excited at some point about changes they announced but nothing like that. I am not even getting notification for new email which goes in to primary. I wanted to disable Predictive text, but the toggle switch in Keyboard settings to enable / disable was greyed out. I could not disable it, and spent quite a bit of time searching for a solution. Apparently, if you disable Math Results in Screen Time settings, it locks the Predictive Text toggle switch to its last known setting. It is stuck on the pink one, and hasn’t changed at all since updating. When i go to check it, it still marks as the “dynamic” mode and shows changing colors while still on settings. Does anybody know how to get rid of the red audio message recording option in the text box of Messages app? I keep tapping it accidentally and have the stupid thing recording me for ages without me realising. I haven’t accidentally sent one of these nonsense recordings yet, but it’s only a matter of time. There doesn’t seem to be any option anywhere in iOS 18.2 to disable it. It’s such an intrusion and nuisance not to mention a potentially significant security and privacy issue. Hi, I had this query since i think before the latest 2 updates on iphone , I was able to get the audio while sharing screen on Facetime. Now, I am able to listen to my friend while he is sharing screen but my mic seems not working when i share my screen. Any solution please?? I’ve been using Apple devices for 13 years and Google services for the past 12 years. Recently, I’ve switched to Apple services, including Safari, Mail, iCloud, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Translate, and Maps. The level of integration makes me feel like I’ve discovered a whole new world. However, I still prefer Google Maps, Google Drive, and Google Sheets. I am on 15PM. As of 18.2 update, the AI is absolutely laughable. I know it's early days but the Playground and genemoji are seriously laughable, especially coming from Apple. These kind of image manipulation has been available online for years. And on Android apps. And for free. iOS 18.2 and still bunch of bunch of glitches and issues. Animations in control center is glitchy or no animations at all when expanding different controls. Haptic feedback does not work properly. For instance: haptic feedback on Safari and choose bookmarks or private window it will always takes you to the new window section. Emoji keyboard resets to default every couple of days. For instance: recently used emojis will go back to its original set of emojis which initially comes with emoji keyboard. And many more which i dont remember as of right now. Installed 18.2 last night and went for a run this evening. Several times there was some kind of weird interaction with either Siri and my music volume and/or Runkeeper (when it gives you stats). After there’d be a pause where I’d usually hear Runkeeper speak and the pause was over, music stayed really quiet. If I asked Siri a question, volume would shoot back up to normal after. Never experienced this before with any other iOS versions- seems to be some kind of bug.
