Hello, I bought my first Apple device a few weeks ago (13 Pro Max) and treated myself with an unlimited 5G data plan. The problem I'm encountering right now is that the 5GHz hotspot doesn't work. Sometimes it shows up on my Windows PC, sometimes it doesn't. When it does, it simply says "no internet" and disconnects after a few seconds. Same thing on other devices, like my old S20+. I picked up a trashcan Mac Pro which wasn't booting supposedly as no power. I got a new PSU for it and still no luck, and no diagnostic lights so I then resorted to a new IO board - but still the same. When I press power the rear panel lights up, but no fans or anything else. I'm using a magnet just to the right of the power button to trick the hall sensor. Hey there, i don't know since when that problem exists, I reseted my phone because of another Problem. But recently, when I try to sync my phone with finder, everything works fine and then it hangs at 4/5, "set titel for synchronisation" (in German) for hours and days. Im trying to help a friend out. A few years back, I helped set up his new phone but I had to back it up thru my MacBook coz he had so much stuff on it. Does anyone know if the non-MPX version of Pro W6600 is compatible with the 2019 Mac Pro and the latest version of macOS? I’m looking for a card that can sit in Slot 5 (e.g., only needs a 6-pin 75w power source) so that it can run my display while my more powerful GPUs are used for rendering. T2 Linux is great. When macOS support ends use T2 Linux. I would say Windows 11 but MS has that TPM bull and I DON't trust Big Tech. Open source is the way to go. WE have the control. Anyway, when Intel support is dead. Use this link for supported Linux on 7,1. You need T2 version of Linux because the 7,1 has a T2 chip which is not open and is a black box. Hi, I was wondering if there are any Linux Distros out that I can put on an external SSD and boot from my MacPro by pressing "option" at startup. I tried to boot the new Linux Mint 21 "Vanessa" and Ubuntu Desktop 22.04 LTS. Both withou luck.
