Wondering where the community here has had good luck selling used machines these days? I have a Base 2019MP and while awesome I don't have anything work flow related that justifies this machine. Its time to sell but I do not know where to get the most bang for the buck. Source: MacRumors

Hiya. I have repurposed an old 2012 Mac Pro as a dedicated test environment webserver by having a clean ubuntu server running on it and nothing else. Whole drive was wiped, no mac os is present. Can you use 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM in a Mac Pro 5,1 (Flashed from 4,1)? I saw a user on Geekbench using it and had considerably higher benchmarks than users with 1333Mhz RAM. Can it actually work and make a difference, pros/cons? Mac Pro (Mid 2010) - Geekbench Browser Source: MacRumors

There is some very interesting thing "hidden" in the 0.4.6 changelog: "Add Nvidia Web Driver support for Maxwell and Pascal" Did anybody get this to work? I tried with a GTX 1070, but with no success so far. No picture at all wit 12.4. What i did: Build and install OCLP 0.4.6 of course. SIP options set as described here. I can confirm, that the OWC Thunderbolt 4 Hub does not work with the trashcan Mac Pro using an Apple TB3 adapter. I only got it to work as an USB 2.0 hub and only after booting it plugged in. Does anybody know, what technical limitations are in play here? I am just curious what feature set they are using for their hub. Source: MacRumors

Hi everyone, My Mac won't see the iPhone when connected via cable, no matter what. I tried: - resetting iPhone settings - force-restarting iPhone - restarting the MBP M1 - checking the cable - other devices actually show up on the mac On "system information" it won't show up. I've set up a work focus in settings to only allow calls from my Favourites whilst I am at my work location, however, my iPhone 14 is still ringing when an unknown caller calls my number (I can even see the Work Focus icon on my screen so I know its currently active as well) ??! A couple days ago I noticed that compared to my friends iPhone my flashlight does not sit close to the top of the glass mine sits kind of depressed in and it's also titled. Does my battery life compare with what any other 13 Pro users are getting? As you can see on one of the days I used a full charge I only got 7:25 hours of on screen time with instagram using 36% of my battery with 1:46 hours of on screen time. That seems a bit much. I'm pretty sure I was getting a couple more hours before but I'm not sure before which iOS update it was. I'm not doing anything intensive like gaming. Mostly just messaging. My daughter has an Iphone 12 Pro. I have A Samsung Galaxy s10e, with caller ID blocking. If I call her, the call goes thru, but it lets her know the ID is blocked. If I prefix her number with *82, to unblock the caller ID, the call goes straight to voicemail, no ring. Her husband also has an Iphone 12 Pro. Hi Guys, 4 months ago I bought Iphone 13 pro max and I didn’t notice it until now that the ear speaker grill is supposed to have ring around it and it should be align or at the same level with the screen (lcd). Mine’s not as shown in the picture. Also, recently i tried to clean the dust, and the ear speaker grill suddenly fell off. Do you have any idea why? There is a rectangle that goes a little past halfway across the screen and about 3/4 in to an inch down. A restart clears it. So does taking a screenshot then tapping on the image and entering markup mode. Touch screen is still responsive in that area. Want to pick some brains for people who must use both Windows and Mac at the same time in one setup. Currently, I use a Mac Pro with dual boot (Windows and Mac), connected to one GPU in 3 monitors (DisplayPort to support 4K at 144hz in Windows/90hz in Mac). I installed a new Radeon 6900 XT into my Mac Pro 7,1 which works great in Big Sur 11.4 - however, it's not recognized at all in Boot Camp and I cannot get the AMD Adrenaline drivers installed at all as it does not recognize it. I have a very strange problem with hey siri. I can't complete the setup with my voice. I bought an m1 macbook pro last year and when i try to setup hey siri, it kept saying "i didn't quite catch that please try again". I recently got an iphone 13 pro and i have the same problem. I'm using iPhone 13 Pro Max. When recording my golf swing (tried both slow-mo and normal video), the camera *automatically* "zooms in" after I've swung the ball. Sometimes it keeps zooming in after each swing. Sometimes it zooms out after a swing. As if it's trying to add some kind of sports effect. I've been trying for some time to upgrade from Catalina to Big Sur on Mac Pro (2009). The USB installer won't mount because it's not 'blessed'.
