I just upgraded my 5,1 with dual x5680's from the stock 2.4Ghz Quads. Everything seems to bw working fine except CPU A is turning 8-10 degrees celcius warmer than CPU B. Is this normal? Forgive me in advance. This subject has been covered a lot. I have a Mac Pro 5,1. It started acting flaky, you would have to try once or twice to make it startup. Then it booted and ran like a top. My wife's iPhone 13 pro, which has worked flawlessly since purchased last September without issue, is black on the bottom half of the screen as of this morning. looking into reconfig my MP3,1. currently on HS with dosdude. I'd like to get to Big Sur so that both my Macs are the same OS .... if possible. The daily is a MM8,1 2018 Intel i7 - 6x 3.2G. Was just watching youtube and some dude mentioned its not good to use the 6 power connectors to plug the display card coz it might fry your motherboard is it true? There are sexual health monitoring analytics on my iPhone 11 Pro (refurbished, purchased late last year). I do not own an Apple watch. Health data is disabled on phone. No health apps connected. Hello everyone! I have an iPhone 13 pro and I am struggling with the auto retouching post-processing effects that the iPhone camera applies to photos. Is there a way to STOP this madness? I find auto sharp, denoise and hdri really annoying. In most situation photos look like a bad post-production photoshop filter. Long winded post for a simple question, Sorry, but I don’t see any point in ‘move to junk’ IF that same email address will still always come to my Inbox. When you receive a Junk email in ‘Inbox’, I’ve always just slid across to delete, which is what I’ve done for years. So, the last few days i’ve noticed when im on my phone it suddenly starts doing wierd stuff without me touching the screen myself. For example i was watching a youtube video and all of a sudden it started fast forwarding the video without myself touch the screen. I have a 2009 mac pro a1289 and I flashed the firmware to the 2010 mac pro so I could get the six cores processors to work on them. In the system identifier the mac came up as a 5,1 so I think the firmware hack worked. After I swapped the CPUs in and tightened them to about 5 turns the computer just turns on and sits there. There are no red lights and the power led is solid but the computer wont chime and start up. Is there anything I can try to make the mac boot? Source: MacRumors

Hello, I want to upgrade my SSD for my Mac Pro 5,1 2010 for faster HD speed. I was reading about nvme and the existing threads. I do have a Kingston nvme but it feels slow and I would get slow drive error when using Logic Pro. I see it could be a pcie 2.0 vs 3.0 issue that the hd might not be running at this optimal speed. Hi there, I've just installed my new Mac Pro 2019 and now I'm wondering, if (and how) I can connect my Rode VideoMic Pro + to my Mac to record audio/ speech with best possible quality.
