I always have Auto-Brightness enabled (Settings > Accessibility > Auto-Brightness) on my 13 Pro Max. I just opened the Burger King app and after clicking on a few things, all of a sudden my phone screen jumped instantly to 100% brightness like a switch had been flipped (not a gradual brightening like Auto-Brightness does when you move to an environment with brighter ambient light). OK. So we got the new tab groups with iOS 15. Problem is, I can't find a way to make links tapped in other apps open in a synced group of tabs. It always defaults to the iPhone-only tab group. Can this behavior be changed? Or, as a fallback option, can the old iCloud Tabs be enabled on iOS/iPadOS like they can on MacOS? Continue reading...

With AMD releasing their refreshed RX 6950XT and 6650XT GPUs (which have slightly higher clock speeds and faster 18Gbps VRAM instead of 16Gbps) just wondering if they will work properly in MacOS in Intel Mac Pros or as eGPUs for other Intel Macs. Hi I have a 2013 Mac Pro on OSX Mavericks 10.9.5 12gb Ram, 500gb hd and are getting a random crash about once a week, it doesn't restart. I seem to be having an issue where my whole computer has a stutter every few seconds. I've attached a video showing the stutter just from moving around a finder window. Things I've tried: -Fresh install macos big sur on a separate sata ssd. Hi, just out of interest- right now I have two Vega II mpx modules in my mac pro - and it's pretty frustrating to see how my colleague's mac studio smokes my machine in h264/h265 playback workflows because of its video engines. Hello, I need to update a mac pro to at least High Sierra 10.13.6 to be able to install ableton live 11. I was gonna go with dosdude catalina patcher for futureproofing but someone on reddit told me it wouldn't work with a non-metal GPU; is it right? The Firewire ports on my 2012 Mac Pro 5,1 (with Metal graphics card running Mojave) are beginning to flake out, as they tend to do. Some work reliably, some don't work at all, some intermittently. I've searched all around but maybe I'm just blindly looking over it but can't seem to find an answer. So when I take a photo (iphone or ipad) it goes to my camera roll but does not sync with photo stream. If I take a screenshot, that will sync and appear in photo stream and ultimately back to photos on the mac desktop. I've turned on/off both photo stream in icloud as well as under the photos setting. Hi there. I had a problem in my iPhone speaker and tried a lot of things (logoff iCloud and reset my settings). None of them solve my problem and now my Text Replacement is gone. Also all my playlists on Music app... The Text Replacement is okay on my iMac and iPad. So, I had to recreate manually some of them in my iPhone... FYI: Apple reduced its trade-in offer for 2013 Mac Pro from $630 to $480 as of May 2nd. Must me a lot of folks upgrading to Mac Studio (me included). Sad to think such a gorgeous machine is probably being just being scrapped and melted down.
