Since I am considering an upgrade to my 5,1, what is the most RAM, and the best type for it? right now there is 3; 8 GB DDR3 ECC memory installed. Also, can I add some additional ports to it? USB 3? Curious whether using SilentKnight for occassional software updates such MRT is OK to do or not on cMPs running OpenCore (specifically either [uSER=721949]@cdf[/uSER] OC guide and related [uSER=884762]@h9826790[/uSER] OC package). I am looking into get a 6900XT for my 2019 Mac Pro. Will the graphics card from different vendors work the same? I saw many options on newegg like from ASRock, Sapphire, MSI and etc. The price ranges from 1K ~ 2K, I am quite new in the area and worried about making the wrong purchase. Another unrelated question, if I use a third party graphics card, will I still be able to use the usb-c ports that are not directly on the graphics card (like the two ones on the top) for connecting monitors? Every time I leave the house, I go to my control center and tap on the Wi-Fi icon. I understand that this is just a temporary thing and that the Wi-Fi will be turned back on the next day. The problem though is that every time I pass by these 2 coffee shops in particular, I'd get a notification similar to this, with my Wi-Fi icon in the control center flipping back to blue again! Hi, I bought my iPhone XR 2 years ago and now I experience some lags, especially while scrolling apps like reddit or turning on camera app. I have 88% of battery capacity, iOS 15.3.1 and mores less 20 gigabytes of free storage. I have done factory reset a couple of days ago but it didn’t improve the performance. What can I do? My friends 13 pro max is completely dead We have tried pressing volume up then down followed by holding the power button- nothing. Holding down the volume up and power together still not luck Also tried charging it and it gets warm but still absolutely nothing. Hello Mac friends. From this day forward, I won't be buying anymore expensive cases and very expensive tempered glasses whenever I buy an iPhone, it's really no used, even if it's a waist height fall, if the surface it smashed on is the very rough parking lot cement. iPhone's have no specific image resolution settings? I take a ton of pics as a business owner at trade shows to just remind me of products, people, etc. Not trying to print out 40" photos of every image, Apple. That with the no micro SD slot makes me really hate the iphone. It blows me away there is not outrage in the community that everyone is stuck saving billions of pixels when 99% of images are never going to be viewed larger than 2MP or 4MP. Hi. This is my first post. I have an issue with my iphone7. Similar to the audio issue discussed previously, however I cannot place calls at all. The phone rings when someone calls me but cuts off as soon as i attempt to answer. If i attempt to make a call on WhatsApp i get the green bar at the top of the screen for a few seconds and then it cuts out. I know this has been asked a dozen times, but I'm not having any luck with searches - what was the tool / technique to get the actual full WiFi card model etc. System Info is being it's usual helpful self, saying; Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x111) Firmware Version: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (7.77.37.33.1a1) I'm sure this is probably not (or at least wasn't) an OpenCore supported chipset for Continuity/Handoff, but wanted to check. I have switched away from safari to edge. Main reason no 4k support in safari on my Mac pro 5.1 utube now plays 4k in safari its 1080p Netflix now plays with no issues also. Hi, Is it possible to replace just one of the GPUs in the Mac Pro Late 2013? As for instance, having the original D300 in slot A (primary GPU) and the D700 in slot B (secondary GPU), or vice versa. If so, how does macOS deals with such a mixed solution? Thanks. Best, Giampiero Source: MacRumors
