As the title states, I can't connect my iPhone 13 to my M1 MBP via the included lighting cable. It's been like this ever since I got the iPhone 3 months ago. The cable charges the iPhone perfectly fine, but it seems to have no data support. I checked the system preferences in the USB section and the Mac doesn't recognise that the iPhone is connected. Hello. can you help with a question? iphone 3gs 32 gb 6 ios. Charges and hangs on a cord / connect aytyuns requires connection to a computer. The computer does not recognize - usd unidentified device / tested on 3 computers and 3 different cords. when switching to dfu and resetting modes through the buttons - the computers still give out as unidentified usb. I don't know if this is the right place to ask but when I try to copy photos from my phone to *any* computer there is one photo, where the copy always has 0 bytes. it looks normal on my phone and I can download it from icloud (it is lower resolution though) so what is wrong with the file, why does this happen? Hi All, I seeking help and I am new here, I was able to edit video out to my 2nd monitor with a RX580 Radeon Pulse just fine in Final Cut X running High Sierra until I upgrade to OpenCore and Mohave. I have a MP4,1->5,1 that I've tried to use AHCI in CSM mode in Win7 for some time. As you probably know, HDD bay 3 & 4 is tricky in this mode (Impossible with the MBR hack?). I've tried to use grub to set the PCI registers and flip bits in the ABAR memory to set the SATA controller in combined mode (6 port controller instead of the default in CSM mode 4+2. After installing a USB 3.0 PCIe card on my Mac Pro 5,1, the FireWire 800 ports stopped working. Nothing mounts. FireWire ports don't even register on System Reports/FireWire. Any idea/help? Thanks! Source: MacRumors

Decided to take the plunge after picking up a DP 4,1 a few weeks ago. It was the base model 2 x 2.26 8 core machine, and came equipped with 12GB of RAM. Immediately, I ordered 6 sticks of 4GB 1333mhz RAM. Now the machine had 24GB. So far, so good. I had a single X5690 in another 4,1 (a single processor model) that I decided to pirate, and then ordered a second on eBay for $100 shipped. Hi, I have two Yamaha HS7 speakers that are hooked up to my Mac Pro via a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3 Audio Interface via USB. The problem is that I hear the most annoying coil whine sound from the speakers whenever no music is playing. I can even hear scrolling on a website or moving a window around. Hi I have a Saphire HD7970 that I had flashed and it was working fine in my MacPro 2009 updated 5.1 running Mojave but it couldn’t startup with startdisk choice (+ ALT) so it was thinking that it wasn’t flashed correct. I have been getting tons of panics on my Mac Pro ever since I got it. A lot of the freezes and restarts could be attributed to either Adobe or the w5700x GPU, but most of those seem to resolved themselves over the past year or so. I have a Mac Pro 2010 which I baby'ed since purchase. Yesterday, the metal door that opens and closes when the SuperDrive tray ejects and retracts start to stick. Now, even when the tray retracts fully back into the SuperDrive, the drive bay door remains open in the retracted down position. I deleted a bunch of files on an SSD. Maybe this should be in the OS forum, IDK. I'm doing a big recording project next week. I deleted about 1 TB from a 2TB SSD, but when I check Disk Utility it still says I only have 171 GB available. It was explained to me once that it was time machine that keeps it cached for recovery. Out of nowhere i’ve been experiencing my GPU drivers crashing on the Mojave and Windows sides. Originally I was running an RX 580, then tried switching back to my EFI 7970, which helped a lot in terms of graphical glitches but still constantly crashes the driver. On macOS the rest of the system works fine like the audio, and if I leave it sit long enough it eventually recovers when the stress load calms down.
