Smashed my 12pro in a recliner.....was able (according to finder window) to get a backup via cable. Cellular and wifi are not selectable, and bt doesn't usually show up when "on". new 13pro says "restore in progress" but there is no progress via the progress bar. using macbook air, older smashed phone was a 12pro on ios 14. macbook air is 11.6 and 13pro is 15.x.x should I update macbook air (I live on pull down bookmarks that some idiot killed in 15) or got other ideas? I have an iPhone (X) and use AT&T (my wife worked for them). My home cell coverage has always been bad so a long time ago AT&T sent me a 3G Microcell to use. Now with 3G being shut down, they just sent me a new 4G LTE Cell Booster. I have Wi Fi, it’s basic, usually 230Mbps down/12Mbps up and started using that for cell service when I first upgraded to the X awhile back. I bought a LG webos tv and took it back. My iPhone keeps saying that the TV is something I can Airplay to when I pull up the AirPlay menu. I noticed this morning my Northbridge temp as reported in iStat Menus was reporting really high (128c)... This was on idle, so I bumped my fans up to see if it would come down, but it stats rock steady at that level. There is not even a single degree fluctuation. All other temps are really low, ambient is 29c, both CPUs are around 60c, and the Northbridge heatsink is around 55c... I've been testing the Afterburner in my Mac Pro and noticed a quirk. It's been accelerating playback of PR422 files fine. But I noticed that any files that have been transcoded to PR4444 or PR4444XQ using Apple Compressor aren't accelerated using the card and only use the CPU for playback decode. If I transcode using Adobe Media Encoder, then all PR4444 and PR4444XQ files are then accelerated with Afterburner. Is there anyone here who has this card and Compressor? I'm trying to see if... Hi, all. Seeing a new behavior in my phone, though I do not know if this is due to recent versions of iOS or due to something to do with my new iPhone 13 mini. Back in the Before Times, when I still commuted to an office, I would listen to podcasts on my commute. I don't use Apple's Podcast app, I have always used Overcast. Hi guys! I just switched from dosdudes Catalina to native Catalina with OpenCore on my Mac Pro form 2009 with dual Cpu. But I get really bad GPU scores of my Radeon RX 580 8 GB. When I Geekbench 5 Gpu with metal in dosdude's catlina (or Mojave) I get a score of 48900 but in my fresh install of Catalina I get 27264. Hi, I recently scored a 12 core Mac Pro 5,1 to replace my current 6 core model (I love company auctions, especially when the IT department can't be bothered to test equipment, and thus sell perfectly good computers as scrap :cool: ). I stumbled upon a great way to add USB-C ports to my 2013 Mac Pro. In summary - buy a CalDigit TS3 Dock !!! I got the CalDigit TS3 as a dock for my 2016 MacBook Pro which connects via Thunderbolt 3 cable (not USB-C as they are different cables). Having trouble getting my Mac Pro connected via Wifi to an EAP-PEAP SSID. It connects just fine, but it refuses to pull an IP address. Wireshark shows the DHCP requests going out from the Mac, My DHCP server doesn't show a DHCP offer or an ACK. It connects just fine to a PSK SSID.
