I already own a Macbook Air M1, but the RAM on it is causing me a lot of trouble. I purchased that laptop when it came out and I have the entry level configuration. My workflow: I work as a manager and have a lot of calls where my camera is always on, I share screen a lot and I always have multiple tabs open in Figma. I'm editing and creating files all the time, but most of them happens on the browser as my company uses GSuite. For the last few months, doing all three at the same time has not been possible. I recently purchased a Studio Display to replace one of my ViewSonic 4K 27” which I ran at native resolution. However as I get older I need text to be larger and crisper. So on receiving the studio display I set it to the recommended 1440p resolution. Everything looked great, except I found it a little too cramped. So I switched it to one of the hybrid resolutions of 3200x1800 which gives my a little more real estate, slightly larger UI than the old 4K running at native, and I still find it to be very crisp, not blurry. Hello! I'm using my MacBook in a library where I can plug it in a socket so it never drains the battery while I'm working with it. My issue is that the sockets are limited in the library and if I want to charge my phone I have to either plug it into the MacBook or pull the laptop out and plug the phone in. So the question is: Can I use my MacBook while it's plugged in to charge my phone? MacBook plugged into the socket, phone is plugged into the MacBook. Does it hurt the battery or can the laptop just route the power through itself without using the battery? I've seen a lot of people who swear by the Apple Magic Mouse, but personally, I have both and find it uncomfortable—especially for my wrist. Hey all, I'm new to iPhone and wondering what are some good options for a keyboard to replace the standard one? I want something with a number row and long-press punctuation, so I don't have to switch screens every time I type a comma. Considering Gboard and Swiftkey, but would rather not give Google or Microsoft access to my keystrokes...Also don't need predictive text or any of that stuff, just a simple keyboard with a fuller feature set than what the Apple one offers. I don’t see how they can logically explain the current inconsistency as beneficial to anyone for any reason. What possible drawbacks could there be for introducing a global back gesture preferably from either side of the screen? Hi, I just got a new phone SE with iOS18.1.1, and it is extremely slow and laggy. It can take multiple seconds for it to respond to simple things like pressing lock/unlock, open an an app or writing a text. I’ve read that some ppl had issues with 18.1.
