I have a 2009 Mac Pro 3,1 with a 2.8ghz quad core xenon dual processor. I’m at the moment running El Capitan but have been following the webpage of ‘dosdudes1’ to install High Sierra onto unsoported macs. Moved a working Areca ARC-1883x PCIe SAS host card from my 2012 Mac Pro to a new macpro7,1 (2019). The macpro7,1 has 2 MPX GPU modules, an Afterburner card, and the Apple I/O card. So, 2 empty PCIe slots. The slot in which the ARC-1883x card is installed is showing as empty in the PCI Cards tab of About This Mac, as well as in System Info. Recently I experienced some issues booting. I sent it to Apple they replaced the GPUs, Logic board, and a few cables. I got it back yesterday and it still is having issues booting correctly. The boot issues are the following, it boots perfectly fine into Windows 10. If I restart my computer and hold option, try booting into safe mode, or recovery I see nothing but a black screen. I bought one of these for $35 at goodwill, and am looking to kit one of these out. I was wondering what CPU/GPU/RAM/HDD/SSDs work in here In terms of ram ive seen the 16gb kits go for $35 but seen the 32gb versions go for $112 so ill stick to 16gb in the 8x2 config. In terms of CPU ive heard that 2 Xeon X5482s are the best, so ill proabably get that if i can score them for a good price. This is just for information, perhaps it helps someone else, too. After you put your Mac to sleep it can awake into the full wake mode or the dark wake mode. Full wake is just the usual wake from sleep where everything turns on so you can use your Mac. Hey all, recently I if I hold down Option I can't see Bootcamp partition. I have to go to settings > startup > Windows but that forces it to always boot into Windows. I'm not sure why it's bee happening lately, but I tried connecting a cable to the Apple keyboard and same thing. I do have File Vault with T2 chip enabled if that makes any difference? Hi, I need help, I am a bit desperate. I used to run the machine you can read in my signature, with Opencore installed thru Martin's Package. Today I decided to update it, using the Opencore Legacy Patcher; I have read on their guide that for updating OpenCore I just needed to run the installer. I got the new IPhone 13 like a month ago or something, but I noticed a light popping sound a faint one when I am skipping between audio files, like when I am playing a certain song on Spotify and then switch to another it can make a small pop sound but it is heard, also it appears on SoundCloud when forwarding on the song it happens. So I just switched from Android to IPhone 13 Pro Max. I’m having some learning curve issues. I do have a Apple Watch SE lte also. I’m looking for two problems I have to hopefully be solved. First my notification sounds on the phone are half the volume as my ringer even if I select the same tone for both notifications. And second at work I can’t wear my watch or have my phone on me. So I took some portrait pictures on my iPhone 13 pro. I check the pictures on the Photos app on my Mac and for some reason when I click on the edit button, there is no option to adjust the Portrait mode. The pic is clearly tagged as portrait mode according to Photos. I checked my older Portrait photos taken with my iPhone 11 Pro and the option to adjust the portrait mode is there. Hi there, I've got a couple of iPhone 6 units and they both suffer from the same problem: their front cameras and earpiece speakers are inoperative. Would I be correct in concluding that purchasing this item will correct the issue because the flex cables will be replaced?
