I've had my 2019 Mac Pro for almost two years now and it's been rock solid. I love the stability of the Xeons and ECC ram, as my programs never crash despite using it for long hours. Hey Guys! So I my daily driver used to be my 5,1 cMP. My line of work is Intense Photo/Video work, Full-time. I have the Highpoint 7101-A x16 PCIE card, which splits the x16 slot into equal x4 Gen 3 slots for up to 4 M.2 SSDs. I noticed that one slot only runs at x1 while the rest run fine at x4. Has anyone else experienced this issue with this card? Highpoint support hasn't been much help in resolving this. Curious if others have encountered this and have found a solution. I'm not in a position to test this as I don't have the ram but I am really curious if this would work. I don't need this much ram I'm just curious. With the ability to upgrade 4,1 and 5,1 cMP to use x5690 cpu's the amount of ram the CPU can handle is well over 250gb according to intel arc. The 16gb 1333 ram sticks you can get for Mac pros are pc3-10600 ram. You can get 1333 speed pc3-10600 ram in 32gb modules. I'm using the health app to monitor my weight loss (or gain) and I realized that in the last few months, the app has started to make up numbers. Ex: If I write 150 lbs on Monday, 151 on Tuesday, 150 on Wednesday. When I look at the app, it might say I weighed 149.3 on Tuesday. I live in Wisconsin where the temperature goes below 0 degrees celsius. Whenever I go out at night with the lowest brightness, my iPhone screen turns to a green tint. It turns normal when I come back home. I am on the latest version of IOS (15.1.1) and have Truetone and Auto-brightness turned off. I have a client who is a disaster when it comes to tech stuff, and he cracked his iPhone 8's screen. I've sold a phone and my new one is delayed. I disconnected iCloud and wiped the phone before selling assuming I would still be able to receive calls and SMS from my phone number (not iMessage) on both my Apple Watch and Macbook Pro, but this doesn't appear to be the case.
