Hello all! Currently on 15.2 This issue was happening the past three days before I had even went ahead with an update. I can place a call and receive a call. I cannot hear anyone on the other end, nor can they hear me. I can hang up the call. I restarted the phone and still no sound on calls when I answer. Good morning all, I am about to purchase the Mac Pro, and have a specific question i could do with some help with before i finally commit. I can see that the older Xeon W-3175x 28 Core Cpu fits this Mac Pro 2019, however the PCIE lanes are reduced from the normal 64 to 48. Will this affect my system and degrade performance? Hi people, I wanted to install Mojave on a new 870 evo drive and it was a desaster ! In difference to my 860 ‘s the installer didn’t reboot into the 2’nd phase . I had to hard reboot ? Later on , the drive even had’nt been recognized . That happened also after starting from another mojave drive ( 860 evo ) . With a second new 870 it’s been the same issue . So I upgraded to the 13 pro max as soon as I got iT. I had problems texting and typing emails where the keyboard would just randomly capitalize letters and also randomly change the top row to numbers making Typing anyThing a hugE pain in the but. My experience is quite strange but I found similar experiences on Reddit...the screen of my 13 Pro Max is quite perfect in every normal condition except with very low temperatures: if I leave my phone outside for 5/10 minutes without using it, the screen becomes quite green (of course with low brightness and grey background) but If I keep it inside my home and start to use normally, the screen return completely normal and the green tint disappear. I have a 2010 MP which is - wonder of wonders - actually running High Sierra because the only way i could install it was to upgrade from El Capitan which was previously on the HD. I then managed somehow to make another bootable SSD since the installer seemed to be still in the system. El Capitan is now gone and Safari won't download High Sierra any more. I purchased my iPhone 13 Pro Max in late September. It is now mid December and the phone is beginning to have an odd speaker issue. The front speaker, (the one where the notch is located), is crackling. It only does this at higher volume. I noticed this last night, which raises the question of whether this is an issue with the device or the software. I say this because I updated my phone to iOS 15.2 last night. What do you guys think? I’ve been using a Lacie 2big thunderbolt for a while. It used software RAID. I discovered in the past that there’s a problem with systems later than 10.10. With later systems after a restart all windows that were open on the drive are now closed. I thought that maybe a hardware RAID would work so I picked up a Promise Pegasus but no luck with any system. I believe that’s because by the time it’s ready the Mac has already booted. I have a Mac Pro 1,1 and will only be running Windows 10 Pro on it (no Mac OS). It's currently running Windows really well and I want to make it more of a gaming machine. However, there seems to be a lot of info online regarding what can/can't be used. Since GPU's are so expensive now, I'm looking for something under $200. I have a 12 core 5.1 that I use for 3d GPU rendering with Octane. It has a 1080ti and a 980ti in it. The 980ti which is a mac version runs the monitor and the 1080ti does the rendering. The other day was getting graphics glitches on screen, so I rebooted the machine and zapped the PRAM. I restarted and all was ok for a while then the glitches returned. I had my phone repaired at the Genius Bar the other day and noticed there are now three unusual spots/stains underneath the back glass. It's hard to tell from the follow (see below), but it looks like air? Or maybe it's just glue residue? Should I be worried about this? I am a bit of a low vision user so I use the 3 finger zoom function on sometimes. I have found on the iPhone 13 Pro max that it’s very dificult to control the portion of the screen you want to see it is almost like it wants to jump around or as soon as you pull your 3 fingers away from sliding the screen to where you want it jumps to another spot. I am just posting this out of curiosity to see if anyone else has heard of an a1289 Mac Pro whose power light (just above the power button on the front panel) doesn’t work. The computer boots and works just fine but that LED just doesn’t light up. I tried swapping out the USB board but that didn’t help. Anyone? Source: MacRumors

I erased and reinstalled mojave on my mac mini. I backed up my itunes folder but did not export playlists. I thought they'd be in the itunes folder but were not. I realized that I hadn't snyced my iphone itunes to mac mini itunes in a year. All of my playlists are in there! I am so relieved. So worse comes to worst, I can look at the iphone and see what's on the playlists and recreate them on my mac mini. Is there a way to transfer the playlists and voice memos from iphone to mac... SO, I Finally got a Monterey installed on my cMP 4,1 (flashed to 5,1) did the Pixlas mod to run a 5700xt. I installed 96gb of RAM from OWC. The computer does not fully boot, it get stuck about 1/3 in the progress bar. I have zapped the PRAM, SMC. all to no available, I replaced the original 48gb and boots up just fine. I just opened a package from OWC which I expected to contain a processor tray having two 6 core processors. I see one large sync and only 4 memory stick slots. It's supposed to be a 3.46 GHz 6 core, an easy swap for my dual 4 core Westmere Xeon 2.4 GHz. Since presale tech support kept using plural referring to the processors when i tried to get reassurance it was indeed 2x6 cord I thought it was a 12 core tray. Looks like a single core. Or is it?
