Has anyone run into a problem seating the Sonnet M.2 4x4 PCIe Card (Silent) Model in the PCIe slot because of that moveable retainer/locking bar on the back wall of the Mac Pro 5,1? My card seems to want to rock back & forth over it, keeping it from fitting 100% into the slot. If I accidentally push the back corner of the card, it pivots against the bar, the front pins shift out of the slot, a red LED lights up & the computer doesn't read the card. Any time that I have a Vega ii duo installed, I can never get a second GPU to work, such as a regular Vega ii or a W 6800 X duo in Boot Camp Screen flickers on and off and is very glitchy. I had been plagued with my CCC cloned NVMe drive not displaying the correct name in the OpenCore picklist, and have even written about it here in the OpenCore thread. I've been busy with eGPU testings in the past few months and was not spending much time on the Mac Pro. Santa was very good to me with an R9 Fury X liquid cooling so I thought it's a perfect time to get back on the Mac Pro tower. The Radeon R9 Fury X fits inside the Mac Pro tower like a glove. I just picked up a 7,1 Mac Pro. I accidentally turned it off during the install of Catalina. When restarted I can no longer boot into recovery mode. When I press command-R I’m taken to internet recovery which leaves me with a -2003f (even though I’m connected via Ethernet). Strange because I thought internet recovery was command option R. iPhone 11 has one broken camera lens. It actually has not seemed to affect the photos (says my son). Hello everyone! Have anyone noticed the difference between ProMotion in iOS 15.0.2 and iOS 15.1? My wife uses iPhone PM with older version of iOS and when I took her phone, her screen seemed definitely smoother than the one on my phone. There is not such a big difference but I’m quite disappointed about that. I have a 2010 Mac Pro 2 x 3.46GH 6-core processors which had 4 x 8GB (32GB total) 1066MHz memory. I decided to bump it up to 64GB and purchased 4 x 8GB (32GB total) 1333Mhz memory. When I installed the new memory the system does not boot and has a flashing power light (I didn't observe the flash pattern). To troubleshoot I began swapping memory around in. Hello, I am having issue with configuring time machine back up disk using OWC accelsior 4m2. To be more precise it is stuck on preparing disk for three days now and there is no other options expect to force quit. OWC disk was formated in RAID 5 using softraid program that comes with OWC disk. Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? Hi all, if anyone install Windows 10 on Mac Pro 7.1 (bootcamp) issues could occur when uploading files on the web or generally surfing the web pages only if the Mac Pro is network cabled (ethernet). I have decided to upgrade from my 5.1 Mac Pro, which I use mainly for 3d rendering, retouching and occasional video work. Currently I am still running High Sierra so I can use a 1080ti for GPU rendering. I also do a fair bit of CPU rendering. My budget is £10,000 to £12,000. I have a mid-2010 Mac Pro with macOS 10.14.6 that has a sudden issue connecting to the internet. As I've written in the past, I have two HighPoint 7101A-1 cards in my 2019 Mac Pro, and an 8TB RAID10 volume made across both of them (eight 2TB drives) using the HighPoint driver/utility. I'm not sure if this is normal behaviour or not but when I get an SMS, I get the normal notification & pings sound. If I don't read the message/clear the notification then I get repeat of it a short time later (maybe 30s - 1min or so). This is currently on an XS Max with iOS 15.02 but it was the same on my older 6S as well. I did wonder if it was something about my mobile provider but I have changed provider since. So I'm trying to clear up some space for my iCloud backups and I've been trying to delete a lot of old photos sent through messages. I go to the person name and see all the photos and start selecting a bunch of them. I click delete but most of the photos just stay there. Is there something wrong? Hi everyone, So, I've recently upgraded from the 11 Pro to 13 mini (mostly for the difference in size). Everything is great -- as advertised, but the camera "macro" or rather "zoom" mode just doesn't work. If I use the wide lens the picture is super blurry when I try to take a close up photo.
