Hi All ! Im from Hong Kong and new to here ! It's so amazing that there is a such big community to help out people who has different kind of question about Mac ! Luckily I'm going to get a nMP stock 6 cores CPU with dual D700 graphics . May I ask that , should I upgrade to the more cores E5-2697v2 CPU but with lower clock speed , or higher CPU clock speed like E5-2667v2 but with less cores , in order to have better graphical performance in general ? Hello guys, I am experiencing kernel panics on my cMP. I know there are a lot of threads about this, but as far as I know these kinda things are build specific so I'm hoping someone out there could help me finding the problem as I am not too into these things. I have two old Mac pros, one running 10.13.6 and the other, in mothballs, with 10.10 (I think) installed. Is it feasible to run SQL on the 10.13 machine? If so, what would need to be installed. This is for someone trying to learn SQL (me). I'm not a unix guy so would want some kind of graphical interface. I'd be a newb in this as well but, regarding distributed computing, is there some way I can interface the CMPs to do parallel computing? Didn't Apple have a free app for this? Source: MacRumors

I've managed to replace all the fans by Noctua. Only the PCI fan I can't access. It is in the grey plastic casing (right lower corner). I searched night and day. No yt video, no tutorials, not a single article about this. Please help if you know how to do this. My MacPro 5,1 (flashed from 4,1) is having trouble booting when there is a second drive connected that has OpenCore installed. My primary boot drive is a PCI NVME SSD, and boots reliably with 2 other SATA drives in the system. I cloned the NVME SSD to a third drive as a safety backup. When that backup drive is installed, the system hangs on booting and never gets to the boot picker screen. Removing the cloned drive allows the system to reboot normallly. Has anyone else noticed a ripping or tearing sound when turning the case handle or pulling the case off the 7,1 Mac Pro? I noticed it the first time I opened it, and then again recently. I inspected the inside of the removable enclosure and it looks like the material on the inside of the case where the handle that spins might be damaged? My cMP 4,1 flashed to 5,1 "died" one week ago after a strange behavior. I have used the Mac for several hours with easy tasks (installed the update of Safari 15.1 during that time) and switched it off afterwards. I know how search on Messages on iPhone work, you search for a keyword and you get results from multiple conversations. But how do you restrict your search to only one conversation and get multiple results with the keyword inside just that conversation? I would love to have the opportunity to read and write messages via iMesssage on my PC. Is there any way to do it? I normally use Facebook Messenger to chat and share photos/weblinks with friends from my PC, but I want to use iMessage instead of FB products, but is there any way to access messages on my PC in the same way you can use FB Messenger cross-plattform? I’ve looked all over the forum and tried all of the troubleshooting. Nothing works. Hi, I deactivated the lens correction on my 13 Pro and thought this will result in some kind of fisheye effect but I don’t see any difference when using the ultra wide camera (0.5x) after deactivating the setting. When I connect the charging cable and lightning headphone to my phone, it shows no reaction. However when tried unplugging and plugging back in, its okay. this case just appeared sometime, 4-5 days one time. I used cable and lightning headphone from apple. I wanted to let everyone know that Vmware Fusion 12 does not run on a MacPro5,1 anymore, due to the lack of XSave instructions on the CPU & VMware not wanting to support older hardware. VMX option to disable use of XSAVE instruction under Big Sur I had VMware Fusion Tech Preview (Fusion 12 Beta) running on Big Sur Beta 2 running great, but upon upgrade to Big Sur Beta 10 it no longer works (vmmon kext won't load) and the official Fusion 12 doesn't work either. Hey all. I have an XR with a buggy screen. I'm fully able to replace it, but I'm worried about losing functionality. I know, for instance, that the iPhone X's screen was paired with the phone and would randomly move as well as lose true tone if the new screen wasn't updated with the old one's code id. Hello all, yesterday I noticed two bright spots on the screen of my iPhone 11 (128 GB, got it on release day). It's hard to explain and even harder to photograph, but they don't match up with pixels and look more like a backlight issue. One spot is about 1 mm in size, the other about half that (and less bright). It's the kind of thing that you don't even see, until you do and then you can't unsee it. I have a problem with my iphone 7. My phone have a battery problem and it should be replaced but I noticed that a small white area which is visible on white backgrounds appeared and I know that the battery should be replaced. I've recently became victim from a phishing attack (sms) and unsure on how to resolve this issue.
