Hello, I wonder if anyone is experiencing this same issue with low volume notifications with all volumes turned up to max. I have ringer and alerts turned up all the way in settings, and still, my notifications come out very low - Ringtone is loud, no issue with the ringtones - It's just the stock notification alerts. Anyone else experiencing this on the 13 series? It's really annoying because it's like half the volume of the ringer tone and sometimes hard to hear. Check it out yourselves... iOS 14.8.1 on iPhone 12 mini. Turned on DND on my phone with a ‘scheduled’ “23:30 to 07:30”. although I set this up at about 10:00 today, WHY am I getting a notification that notifications will be silent until 07:30 tomorrow? The ‘volume up’ button in my new iPhone 13 Pro makes a distinctive metal-on-metal, louder-than-normal clicking sound, as if it was missing a rubber component. The ‘volume down’ button is OK and sounds much more muted. Has anyone else noticed this problem? It seems the hardware has a manufacturing defect. Source: MacRumors

Hello, I recently upgraded to the 13PM. I have always backed up my iphones only to Icloud. I also have an M1 Macbook Air. Is it recommended to also backup to my MBA using Finder and then store that backup onto an ext. HD? Thanks for any input! Source: MacRumors

Hi there, I just came back from the Apple Store. My iPhone 12 was full of dust, did not charge anymore and even the headset when I called sounded like i was talking to someone down in a submarine. They offered to clean the dust, and I agreed. So he did it in front of me, it was some sort of clay/gum they use, and it will take of all the dust. Does someone knows what it is? I want to share my experience with you. My MP arrived few days ago with OS X Yosemite 10.10 on it, and just after setting it up and connecting to network, I installed 10.10.2 update from AppStore and after that Mac Pro has locked up a few times. It was completely random and what happens is GUI just stops responding, and only thing you can do is move cursor around. Hey all Mac Pro 4.1. Trying to follow the minimum config testing from the Apple Tech manual. The power light comes on, fans spin but no boot, no chime. Hello, Since Catalina disables the Displayport of the Nvidia GTX 680 Mac Edition, I bought an HDMI to Displayport adapter and a DVI to HDMI adapter for my second monitor, hoping to solve the problem. While the DVI to HDMI adapter works without problems, I'm not getting any image on the LED Cinema Display. I am having a funny issue - in playback performance in Davinci Resolve and R3d raw, the W6800x Duo is twice as fast (72 FPS vs 40 FPS) as Quad W6800x, or two duos. The Quad gpus are faster in export and other areas like noise reduction, but in playback are half the speed. What can be going on here? I connected resolve support, but they have no idea so far. Hello there! I am totally new here and to cMP. I just got mine a few days ago and started 'playing' with it. It arrived with High Sierra 10.13.6 with the original GT120 in it. It worked fine. I updated to Mojave with a GTX 560Ti (although my screen was black the entire time during install). I've waited out, restarted the Mac and it booted succesfully (not with 570 tho but with the gt120). The temperature sensors in the Mac Pro are not tuned for things like modern nVIDIA graphics cards and certain SSDs or HDs, and will ramp up the fans tremendously, even though the temperatures are low. So after following this thread, I'm thinking of finally replacing my 6 30" Cinema Displays with one or 2 8k displays. They have finally gotten cheap enough that it's worth a try. The question is, what graphics cards support 8k displays on the Mac Pro (mine is a 7,1 and currently has a 9100WX with 6 display ports that I dont think will do the job)? Having issue with ethernet on Monterey. On regular boot, system report states "This computer does not appear to have any Ethernet devices." However in safe mode, both ethernet ports show up correctly and are usable as expected. I didn't install anything disruptive prior, and have removed all extensions and isolated kexts that weren't relevant. Issue still persists. I've been running a 2 x 1TB Samsung 850 EVO in RAID-0 as the system disk on an Apricorn Velocity Duo PCI card in my Mac Pro 3,1 for several years. At the time a 2TB SSD was unavailable (or possibly unaffordable) so as I wanted to replace a 2TB HD I went with RAID-0. I've been reading around this subject for a while as a pet peeve of mine is noisy computers. My normal workstations are entirely passively cooled and silence is bliss, but I do still use my cMPs when I need machines with a bit more power or more cores for testing virtual environments and the noise of my 5,1s has always annoyed me.
