for some reason, my phone even locked, stays on, and the display won’t turn off like it used to I thought it just might be for once, but it’s happening continuously since two days. So I got a new phone (16 Pro Max) and want to transfer my whole 14 Pro Max to the new one including photos, apps, data, settings…so the entire phone. With Samsung you just put them next to each other and then it’s transferring. On iPhone, first they asked me about QuickStart with iCloud, but I clicked „transfer from other iPhone“ but nothing happened it in put me back to select the language. So I’m forced to use iCloud?? So I clicked „transfer with iCloud“ but I haven’t done a backup in 2 years so there was nothing there. I then started the iCloud backup on my old phone overnight. I hate the feature that it autocorrects the PREVIOUS word for a few years now. So you spell the previous word correctly and then you spell something wrong with the word you currently typing but instead of auto correcting the current word it corrects the previous word to something that doesn't make any sense at all. For example when I wrote this title it would auto correct: "what do job hate" instead of "you hate". I bought the 15PM when it launched. A lot of people reported their phones heating up at that time but I didn’t face the same issue with my phone. However, since I upgraded to ios 18, I’ve noticed that my phone heats up very frequently. When I charge the phone using a 20W Apple charger + Apple cable (even with no case on), it heats up enough for the phone to pause charging sometimes. Hi, I am on iPhone 16 pro max with ios 18.1.1 and Macbook M3 with 15.1.1. I used to download all my photos/video daily from camera roll using Image Capture app then delete all the photos. Hi there, i've got a serious problem: I got an additional SIM card with the same number as my main phone (Multi SIM). This new card i've put in my old spare phone (SE 2020) which immediately snapped the number for activation of iMessage and Facetime and thereby deactivated the number on my main phone. Hello. Before I had my Apple Watch my iPhone used to count my steps and fill in my fitness rings without problems, but as soon as I paired my watch it seems to have stopped. My watch counts my steps fine, but on the days I leave it at home (sometime I wear a normal watch) and just take my phone out then nothing gets recorded. Is there a buried setting where I can turn this back on? I remember when I first got HomePods around the house I could go from room to room and my iPhone Home Screen would automatically switch to whatever was playing but it no longer appears unless I manually swipe down to control centre and select "Control other devices" from the now playing tile. I used Apple Mail on the Mac for ages but on the new iphone I got it seems to not really work. I can go into settings of email and turn on email sync for all the various google accounts I have, But it only syncs one account and when I tried deleting it in Mail it logs out and there is nothing. I use “stack” style notifications on my Lock Screen and I can clear all notifications except the one telling me a new iOS version is available. I’ve looked under “Notification” settings and don’t see any obvious way to eliminate those, but the biggest issue is once it is there, I can’t get rid of it. I may have purchased some music on a second AppleID when I had a free trial to AppleTV on an ipad. We use one main account for all music purchases. This is what stays logged in on my PC iTunes. Anyone else having issues with their 16PM battery? I’ve had it since release day. Initially the battery was great (would drain 2-3% an hour with regular usage) but currently running 18.1.1 and the battery is horrendous. I was speaking to Apple support earlier and it drained 6% in 20 minutes. They’ve looked at my analytics and no issue they can see their end. No idea what is going on. Hi everyone, I'm dealing with a bunch of .heic photos I took with my iPhone and I want to convert them to .jpg on my Windows 11 laptop. The problem is that there are too many files, about 50-100, and it's too much trouble to convert them one by one manually. Is there any quick way or tool to convert heic to jpg in batches? Hi Does anyone know what the copper disk on the inside here is? I broke the screen and the back some weeks ago. I wonder if this is something vital or is it just the magsafe?
